For me has to be Rihannas 'Man Down' - 'Could of been somebody's son.." WELL YES. He WILL BE somebody's son, not COULD OF BEEN!

parents are dead = nobodys son
The music and lyrics just don't fit together. It sounds terrible. How that song was a hit is beyond me.
"I squeeze you out just like a blackhead" Ew. :S
"You can't go to bed without your cuppa tea." It annoys me at times and then at others I'm like awk cuteness! :P
Thats absolute rubbish. They will still be someones son, just their parents wont be alive.
Lol yes that line gets me every time
This. The song would be so good if it didn't have this terrible line in it.
I really can't stand 2 chainz
"I really do believe in you / Let's see if you believe in me"
The lack of rhyme really grinds my gears but I think more than anything it's just because "Let's see if you believe me too" works better, rhymes and goes with the general cheekiness of the song. Always bugs me when that part comes up.
From Do They Know it's Christmas by Band Aid.
Its the pronounciation of "could of" rather than "could have" that annoys me, but that's more to do with accent I suppose.
How do you know it's for real if it's the first time?
"A Few Questions That I Need To Know"
Shouldn't it be, a few answers that I need to know as you're the one asking the questions
'Seeing is believing so you better change your specs'
I don't think any other line in a song makes me cringe as much.
Errghh. They're beyond awful.
Blame Ed Sheeran.
No, no I do not. I can safely say that I have never felt like a plastic friggin' bag.
"I knew I loved you before I met you"
Bleurgh, I hate this lyric
Similarly:
"Before you came into my life I missed you so bad".
- Carly Rae Jepsen
"The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine
But I'll love them endlessly."
"You can't go to bed without a cup of tea
Maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep"
"You still have to squeeze into your jeans
But you're perfect to me."
I can see the appeal of the song but it just makes me cringe so much! Not to mention how completely dreary it is, I have to change over every time it comes on
It sounds as if they just sat, wrote out some crap without changing/improving bits of it and recorded it just to say that they had a hand in writing something.
