I can't help it, i LOVE James Arthurs cover of Impossible, to me it's equally as good as Shontelle's original...a song i really love. To me they are two different songs, sang so differently and so soulfully.
Not many songs i can say i thought a cover was better than or at least equal to the original.
What are yours?

Leona Lewis' "Run" took that song to a whole new level.
Totally agree re Hurt, although I do still like the NIN version. Can't agree with Leona 'no personality' Lewis, totally hated her version.
And also Westlife's Uptown Girl - they made it more modern and it is a very very popular version. I hear more their version on the radio than Joel's.
However, I would like to add theirs Your Raise Me Up because even some non-Westlife fans praised their version. And I think theirs Total Eclipse Of The Heart is very good - I think they did song's justice.

I also think Buble's Cry Me A River is an amazing cover:

And I really like Dixie Chicks - Can't Hurry Love and I'm not even a fan of the group:

Their version is simply on another level to any other version of the song! The production, arrangements, video, even the mix of artists is just perfect!
