Why do people insist on saying the "train station" - it's an Americanism. In our English, it's the "railway station". Noticed that in "Privates" the other day. In 1960, there's no way an English person would have said the train station....Soz for the rant - just annoys me!!

We used to love it when the London train drew in at Stockport ( I was 16), and people travelling to Wilmslow were not supposed to get on - of course it stopped there and we got off = gaining 15 mins over the local train hehe
