Some of the changes were good. I like David Tennant's take on the Peter Vincent character as much as Roddy McDowall's, and I liked seeing Charley's mum more involved in the action. The writing and/or the pacing didn't seem as tight as the original, though. Some plot points seemed to go nowhere or have no point (mentioning Charley's dad so much), and other interesting one's didn't get enough screen time. I personally would have liked to have seen more of the Charley/Peter friendship growing, and more of a confrontation between Jerry and Peter. Still a fun film, though.
I should clarify my comment about Lawless, it's not exactly a western since its set in the time of prohibition However, it does have that western feel to it. I was half asleep when I wrote the above, that's my pathetic excuse
Iron Lady - 6/10. A decent bio on Mrs T & a decent film about dementia. Unfortunately I didn't really want to watch the latter and it badly hindered the former.
The "true" story of the Berlin brothel run by the Nazis to spy on officers and diplomats considered to be security threats. Tinto "Caligula" Brass gives it a soft porn treatment with loads of pubic hair, wobbly boobs and swinging dicks, especially in the extended director's cut. The brothel looks great thanks to Ken "007" Adam's set designs.
I watched Silver Linings Playbook last night and actually thought it was amazing, the best film I've seen in a while. The writing was spot on, and I'm not really a fan of Jennifer Lawrence as an actress but she really did excel herself in this and I'd be happy if she won the oscar, I thought Bradley Cooper stole the whole film though, I've never rated him as an actor before but he was incredible in this! Great film

Read that the blu ray is one of the best and it certainly didn't disapoint. 8/10
Lawless. I don't like westerns, but occasionally I watch one for my job. This was one of the better ones.
Flight of the Phoenix 6 out of 10 its got good music in and lots of LFE bass if you have a good sub.
Pretty good, good soundtrack and quality blu ray. Some great acting too.

Great performance by Streep as always, but the film was just.. well, crap really. They should have focused more on the politics and not the fiction.
