We're suddenly meant to believe that Eileen and Sally both side with Kirsty's version of events. Sally, at least should have realised how aggressive and 'dominant' she has been at Underworld, especially in her dealings with Fiz.
In contrast, Sally's known Tyrone for years and, whilst you should never judge a book by its cover, his personality is more placid. On appearances at least it's easier to see that Kirsty's the one with the short fuse and is more prone to outbursts.
Julie has been dim beyond belief. If Tyrone was so controlling and unreasonable wouldn't it be more likely he'd want Kirsty at home all day, away from people, where she'd been easier to "control".
He'd hardly be sending her out to work and "allowing" her to spend time at the pub with her workmates if he was that intent on controlling everything she does.
I was very disappointed with Eileen's attitude as it really didn't sit well with me. Still, I suppose they had to pick someone to side with Kirsty and Eileen, Paul and Sean were the natural choices given that they live next door and were able to overhear the argument and the subsequent crash as Kirsty fell down stairs.
Exactly. I could almost of believed it if they saved the accusations for after Kirsty accuses Tyrone but the fact that Eileen is already accusing him is pathetic.
They've ruined such a good story.[/QUOTE]
I made a similar comment on another thread saying they would do this. And that's exactly what they've done. Tonight's episode was absolutely awful. Dragging it out for all it's worth. Absolutely pitiful weak writing. The loss of interest has well and truly kicked in for me. Having been a Corrie fan for years, it makes me sad, and mad.
surely all the incriminating photos Kirstys just deleted on Tys phone, after she has made an allegation about Tyrone, and he starts claiming it what her beating him, cant the mobile phone company and police retrieve the deleted photos? everything on computers and phones are retraceable surely...............................
I was watching Corrie and saw the scene in Irene's house where they said listen to the arguing coming from next door but I must have looked away to the computer because I didn't see Tyrone push Kirsty down the stairs.

Of course the photos will be able to be recovered in real life but this is Corrie land

This is such a common feature of Corrie's "injustice" plots, and it drives me mad! It's the same every time: in order for the storyline to progress, everyone has to accept the baddie's story and completely dismiss the word of someone they've known and been close to for years. After all, Kirsty's only been around for a short time and she's already been involved in all sorts of nasty dramas (didn't she get thrown out of the police force for trying to crash her car into Tina's or something?) Yet everyone blindly sides with her against dear old lovely Tyrone whom they've known since he was a kid!
And don't get me started on Tyrone's failure to back up the photos....words fail me!

She's probably destroyed the phone as she was going to do it when she first found it, but decided to put it back. As she's an ex-copper she would probably take that extra precaution.
Has no-one noticed Eileen's been on a diet, (for health reasons) didn't recognise her Monday in the Rovers.
Little Pole, sorry Little Paul was complaining he couldn't breathe !

2 out of 10
They hear a violent argument next door and then see Kirstie seriously injured. What are they expected to think?
Did you never see Leanne's father
She worked at the local nick but always has to remind every officer she sees that she used to be in the Police
Stupid statement by Tyrone:rolleyes:
a bit of co-operation by Tyrone could have avoided all that:rolleyes:
Perhaps they'd listen to their good friend Tirrone.
I sincerely apologize for my naivety!!
Try watching Emmerdale:D:D
Even worse watch Hollyoaks
Also "Hate Kirsty"! Glad to see not everyone is taking her side.

Same colouring, same hairstyle.
Why does Sean keep wearing the Dr. Who Coat ?
The one Peter Davison wore in Dr. Who.
