Even if it were, you are talking about one of the most inconsistent and corrupt organisations in the world..
If you were talking about the IOC or FIFA maybe, but the FA are nowhere near those two.

I didn't like the way Hazard stood around lauging when the ball boy was obviously injured.

It depends what we think happened.

    I see no "assault".
    I see no "ABH"
I do not see hazard "putting the boot in"
I do not see hazzard "kicking a kid"

What i saw, was a cocky person timewasting just like he stated he was going to do, and Hazard toe-poking the ball from under him.

Hilarious. Don't know why you are getting so wound up by it. Mind you we all know what you'd think if it were Luis Suarez or somebody from a rival club ;)

Maybe not as corrupt, but just as inconsistent.

According to his twitter page he is 17, 18 in August.

    I thought he was 13/14.

He is not a "kid", but a young adult. So can we stop the sanctimonious "child abuse" posts?

    He`s seventeen. He`s a kid.

You don`t kick kids in the stomach.

Yeah that wont look good and he was right to be sent off, no way he is hurt though - kid wouldnt have given it a second thought if that had happened on the playground.

Official statement from swansea states the matter is over!

What common sense from them. If only the UK media could show the same thing.
Why should they ? They make their living from this sort of thing, do you think they should ignore it and instead put stuff in the papers that arent going to sell them ???

The only way to stop this sort of thing being blown out of proportion is to no do it in the first place, then there'd be nothing to write about.

    Obviously injured?

If you look closely, hazard gets the ball and goes on with the game and the ball boy is fine - looks at the ref and gestures towards him as if to want to give him a card!

Both are in the wrong, but the 17 yr old is NOT injured. It is not ABH. This actually does a disservice to everyone who actually HAS been a victim of ABH.

Hazard should get his suspension doubled for not kicking him hard enough. :)

If you're still maintaining this to be a violent assault, I hope for the sake of your own sensibilities you never watch something containing actual violence, like a tickle fight or someone getting a custard pie in the face.

Well we are all laughing now and he was not injured, he was clearly putting it on.

He laughed because he didn't do anything wrong. People are trying to say he kicked him but i see that he kicked the ball. At most he caught the ball boy/adults coat.

The lad and his Dad have said they are not taking matters further. Much adoo about nothing.

At worst then he'll now know what the players feel like that have got in trouble from Hazard himself diving/making a meal of it and conning the ref.

Just watched the clip : the ballboy lay on top of the ball to stop a quick throw in from being taken I take it?

Hazard deserved his red card without a doubt, but the ballboy was a disgrace for interfering with play.
