There seems to be more and more of these happening especially in Hollyoaks at the moment?
How many characters can you think of that have disappeared?
In 2012 there was Finn, Ricky and now Lacey!
Are any other soaps as bad as this?

To be fair we haven't seen much of Martha, Callum or Ash since Ally got arrested so maybe Lacey is still around?
Think she went to Spain with Kat then didn't come home cos her mum wanted her to stay there with her. Prob keeping it open for her to return.
Not to mention Frank Molloy. With Frank, he was in it for ages then one day someone in the soap said he had committed suicide and that was it: the actor was cut and the character was gone.
Interesting that neither Rita's nor Frank's actors will work with RTé again though, and in Frank's case he swore off acting all together and is something interesting like a cattle farmer in Australia these days.
There is quite a list when it comes to Crossroads.
As did Uncle Len from the Windass family, and Grandad Morton before him (maybe there's some thing in that house - a portal to another dimension perhaps...?).
The most famous/infamous disappearing soap character of all times has to be Benny from the original Crossroads - went up a ladder in reception and was never seen again...

I take it the little girl on Friday night's (25th Jan)eposode(s) with Fizz was Hope, but Fizz never made any mention that it was Hope.
Lovely little girl too.
Jordan got a sort of exit
His aunt picked him up to spend Christmas 2010 and Denise let him stay for New Year 2010/11- thats the last we heard of him.
Half the staff in Waterloo Road
Marlene and her cruise on Neighbours.. long cruise!

Very strange - she was on the departed web page yesterday. Guess they changed it
I haven't seen that. Mind you I am always missing things. Maybe he deleted it though.
The Sharpe's. They made such a good impression we can't remember their name

Dot's friend Lilly. (Rumoured June Brown thought the pairing didn't work).
