Top cashback, that obnoxious man's smug face is crying out for a good smack. Not to mention the stupid orange trousers.
Doing a retro homage to U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer stopped being funny / entertaining / anything in about 2003. It would be good though to see that pilluck in the ad trip on the hem of his baggy trousers, fall down the stairs and break his neck. (In case Top Cashback are wanting ideas for a Go Compare Saving The Nation 'anti-ad').
I don't remember who the advert is for but it's some sort of life plan insurance I think.
It's the one with a doting father buying everything his demanding daughter wants as she grows up.
A pony, a car and then a house. At the end we see her grown up with her own child pointing at and demanding a trip to the ice cream van.
Everyone wants to give their child what they can afford to as it grows up but a house? It's a bit unrealistic to say the least. Wish that idiot father had been mine.
I don't get why so many people are down on this ad, I think the little girl is really sweet, I certainly don't think the dad comes across as a paedo! she is a bit precocious, but a lot of little girls are it is just a sign of inteligence and nothing to be afraid of:D
Now, if you want annoying girls, Haribo starmix anyone.....

Those of us with grown up children can appreciate the ending, that smug grin:D

I don't know what it's advertising either and yes so annoying
Just seen the new McDonald's advert where that teenager keeps saying "Nah you're alright"
I didnt understand that advert I do remember something similar in the 90's or so where a kid is watching football with his dad, then he goes to see his sister:
Little boy: You aw'right?
Girl (looks sad/angry): No just go away!
*Shakes £2 from his moneybox, and then goes and gives the happy meal to his sister*
Little boy: You aw'right?
Girl *pause*
.. Yeah.
*Boy puts 1p back in his money box*
*Returns downstairs to watch the game on TV*

That sounds like the one shows a few years back
Sorry if this has been mentioned before (not had time to read all the posts!) but OMG that bl**dy Saniflo ad. What's with that man's dungerees and teeth???????? Every time it's on I swear his dungarees get tighter and his teeth goofier! And why the dubbing? They are mouthing English words for god's sake (let me guess, Canadian????) I would not let a bloke looking like that anywhere near my plumbing, (ooer, missus!!):D
Can't believe I'm saying this, but 'bring back the Meercat!'. Robert Webb has cornered the market in smug and he's so unfunny. Also, what's with him dancing with the another guy at the end of the ad? Is it thinly veiled homosexuality? Dire.

I think they are German and they have messed about with the mouths so they are talking English.

No, it's silliness. And if it was homosexuality - so what? Isn't it good to put it on TV, show it as normal and stop depressed teenagers from killing themselves over it? What's with your comment about homoseuxality at the end of the post? Is it thinly veiled homophobia? Yes, yes it is.
I like the advert - it deconstructs the Compare the Meerkat campaign and admits what a rubbish joke the whole thing was based off. It's not smugness at all, it's funny and slightly cleverer than meerkats.

"What was that name again?"
"BROADBAND CHOICES!" Grr
Also, what is Saniflo? It looks like something to do with plumbing, but it just sounds like a Tena Lady type thing..
If you mean 'Desiree' the 97 year old, it's all done with special effects...Sara Mason, the real actress is in her 40s.

It's about plumbing apparently.
Sounds like it's either for when a woman is on the rag, or some poor guy who pisses the bed.
No!!! We do not all have McD's in common.
Psycho Paul you better eat or else cartoon head will be round to sort you out.

Blooming ads being repeated now

Should have been Aerosmiths 'i dont want to miss a thing' if they were going with the Armogeddon vibe.
