Lily Allen- Alright, Still VS It's Not Me, It's You
Well as she is soon to be returning to music i was having a look back at her past two albums. I love both and both have been on repeat since their release and its been hard to decide. But for me INMIY just edges it. It's far more personal and cohesive and less cartoonish than AS. but that said AS is one of the best pop/alternative albums of the last decade full of sharp wit and observations and great melodies and hooks.

I can't stand 'Not Fair' though. After 'The Fear' I thought that was a terrible choice of single.
Can't wait for the new material.
It gives you an insight to Lily's world and I love her honesty into the lyrics.
I love her second album but her first still remains a huge personal fav of mine
But both are really great.
That is definitely one of the best pop albums ever. Lyrically as well. Which is even more impressive since Lily wrote it.
My ex was literally obsessed with Lily Allen and made me listen to it whenever we drove anywhere.
I think the song I liked was called I Could Say and the one that goes 'how on earth could I be anymore obvious....'
Never Gonna Happen it's a great song
Agreed with others INMIY is lyrically much more mature and she says alot without being preachy or overtly in your face its very much her but also very relatable
I disagree i think in time it will be given more consideration than alright, still which i think was just more culturally significant. And The Fear, Not Fair, 22, **** You all classic pop songs and The Fear lyrically one of the best of the last decade i would say
