Possession. It was actually one of the better films of its genre but as usual they messed it up with a rubbish ending.
Flight. Not what I was expecting but ended up quite enjoying it, Denzel Washington played a good part.
I just adore this film. I think its the best Rom-com from the last 20 years. So funny, and sad, and great acting. Each and every character is interesting.
Great performances by the main stars(particularly Carey Mulligan), but such a bleak story Not something I'd like to watch again, but deserves respect for the aforementioned performances.

I rated it the same as you, though I'd like to see it again in a year or two.
Yankee Doodle Dandy on Monday
The Roaring Twenties last night
I love Cagney's films, they all have such memorable endings. I have three more to watch this week. I'm going to leave my favourite, Angels with Dirty Faces, till last.
He dies in the end. But did he turn yellow, or did he do it for the preist ?
I watched 'The Strawberry blonde' at the weekend. 9.5/10
Highly enjoyable film about the genius film-maker Alfred Hitchcock and about the making of his masterpiece "Psycho"
Anthony Hopkins was fantastic as hitchcock, as was Helan Mirran who played his wife Alma Reville, couldn't believe has much James D'Arcy looked like Anthony Perkins and how much Scarlett Johansson looked like Janet Leigh.
some good casting choices made, i highly recommended this film
Agree that happens a lot with afternoon films !...if a film has got adult content show it late on !..another thing that annoys me is voice overs in the credits and music at the end and blocking the cast list with adverts of proggrammes when you want to view info ..aaaagghh !
That's the thing - it was on at 9pm! Daft really, as the scene they cut was the 2 fisherman on the jetty, and one gets pulled in when the chain link is snagged by Jaws, so the only part shown was the guy scrambling back onto the bank.
Maybe it was due to time constraints
ITV4 have been putting on some great films recently, that otherwise have been sidelined by other channels for years.
I also watched The Silence of the Lambs, which I don't think I've watched since after it's release.

Completely agree. Excellent work from Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield. Although, if it's on TV I may just tune in again.....
I watched Home Alone on Wednesday night. One part I love is when the two crooks are in the police car. When Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) is watching this from his window, he waves at them while smiling as his way of taunting them. I actually laughed at that part

Fully worthy of the acclaim and awards nominations that Coppola, Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson recieved.

2/10, crushingly boring and cheesy.

This should put anyone off wanting to get married. Desperate remake.

It's almost hypnotic.
Promised Land - 3/10
The Liability - 3/10
Cross Of Honour - 4/10
Lead character was too annoying and Vince Vaughn was in it. 2 problems that are hard to look past.
