Connor was surprised as they entered the hall. There was lots of fundraiser stuff, the school were all doing this for him. He felt touched.

Sian smiled at Connor.

Connor stood out of wheelchair, so he could sit on a proper chair next to his friends. He could barely walk, he was growing weaker. His legs were shaking. Everyone looked at him in sympathy.

Imogen and Kevin sat at either side of Connor as Michael took stage to do a short assembly.

Garry sat at the back. He now knew Connor wasn't lying.

They day was going great, with all the events and fundraising stuff for Connor. Michael made an announcement half way through the day

"So far today we have raised £5000, Connor we Have a surprise for you!"
