Brad Pitt has been nominated a few times and recently with 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' and 'Moneyball.' i thought he was very good in the latter.

I think Toni Collette is a good actress but as people have mentioned, you just need that role with a cutting edge.

    Have you seen Japanese Story??

Definitely about time Amy Adams won one. Four times she's lost out now.

I would have given her the Oscar over Angelina Jolie.

so would I. Jolie was just playing herself. In fact if I was Winona Ryder, I would have been royally pee'd off as she was great in Girl Interrupted. Toni Colette is a great actress and deserved the Oscar

Personally, I think he should have won the Best Supportimg Actor for What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

I agree DiCaprio should have won for his role in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape", in my opinion he was very good.
I also think Joaquin Phoenix should win an Oscar, I think he was brilliant as the villain in "Gladiator" for example.

Robert Downey Jr should have won the Oscar in 1992. He is still deserving IMO.

Yes! She really should've. It's one great cinematic and iconic performance the likes of which I haven't seen since.

Jim Carrey for Man on the Moon and The Truman Show. I also really hope Paddy Considine and Christopher Eccleston may land themselves the ultimate roles that could get them wider recognition one day.

    Certainly not Tom Cruise.

    Guy Pierce
    Toni Colette
Rooney Mara got a nomination but never won. Absolutely should have won for The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo.
Daniel Craig- his low scale independent movies are great.
Aidan Gillen for Treacle Jnr. Amazing film and performance but independent and little known.
    Sigourney Weaver

I can definitely see Leonardo DiCaprio and Michelle Williams getting best actor/actress in the future. I would also like to see Cate Blanchett win it.

Miranda Richardson. She should have been nominated for 'Dance With a Stranger'. Her work in both 'Damage' and 'Tom & Viv' was nominated and was excellent.
