If someone asked you what did your parents teach you, what would you say?

I remember my mum showing me how to push my cuticles back from my nails.
Apart from that, I can't really think of anything else

From My Dad er I guess hit someone hard enough and they will do as you say (never followed that one though)
In reality nobodies parents are that special, they are just average folk with no great wisdom to pass on other than "don't go outside with wet hair because you will die" style rubbish. Obviously they teach you how not to poo yourself and how to ask for food, but that's common sense.
Dad - respect for the countryside and animals, the natural world.
I've just realised - amazing really - I had hippy parents!:)
If you saw them you wouldn't have thought that but....
Perfectly said!
Or at least out of olfactory range of the air-conditioning rendered thus noxious!
As shit as they were, I did actually learn that from them.
That's a very honest answer.
I think a lot of people probably learnt the same.
What a sad, sad statement, either you have a bad memory, or you don't like your mum very much.
