Morning all:)
Currently a roasty toasty 34C here but overcast and very humid...
Happy International Women's Day
Hi halla - HIWD - go easy on them balls!
Miserable day here, raining and dull:rolleyes: Fortunately I have to stay in for the foreseeable as we're having a suite delivered and Sue Ryder charity van is coming to collect the old one.

Off to shower and cool down now, hopefully....
Interesting link halla - it's not all beer and skittles (or gin and tennis:D) - a friend of mine from uni was an ex pat wife for over 30 years and I know how difficult it sometimes was for her. When her OH retired they didn't know which country was 'home'!
My new son in law's mum has been an army wife for over 30 years and she's experienced some of the difficulties too - she says she has loads of acquaintances but very few friends.
Oh was that the Indian festival where croissants & cup cakes were served, standard Indian fare. Ah well.........I'm sure it's only a handful of people complaining.:D

Thats the one. Salmonella, so it was avoidable.
Shame a worthwhile charity has to miss out because some dirty get didn't follow health and safety rules.

Morning Elfy
I will be the judge of that :D
Good grief! People pop into a food festival to support a charity and end up poisoned by idiots.

I think we must have missed an "episode" because I was unaware of Grandparentgate.
