Absolute rubbish. Live in a student house where the contract was already agreed. I've never had such poor service from another ISP in terms of variations in speed, packet loss etc.
If you ring them up to complain, they'll just say "there's a fault in your area" and give some ETA in the distant future. Of course, their website service status for my postcode has a green tick and says "Good service" for broadband.
One time, our internet went down at 2am (a housemate of mine was doing some competitive gaming) - he phoned them, got the "there's a fault in your area" with an ETA for a few days time. In the meantime, I power cycled the router for 1 minute and the internet came back - no fault at all.

That's a joke. How can they justify slowing you down so much when your on such a high plan?
If they're going to lower they should just halve it or something. To bring you down to very slow adsl style speeds is disgusting.
I check my connection speed twice a week and I'm getting about 15MB from a 17MB connection on BT, I use at least 3 checkers including BT's and 15 is the average....

speeds have got slightly better recently without making any changes at this end.
Changed to BT today and am happy.
I'm still quite pleased with my new BT BB!
