In June 2012, Lott stated she'd started recording her third album[46] citing Motown as inspiration for the album: "I'm going to be heading to New York to work with the guys who did the original Motown records in the '60s to make a new album soon."[47][48]

As much as I like R&B/Soul, she really doesn't suit it.
Cry Me Out I think is her best-selling song (or 2nd best-selling), so I think it's clever for her to go down that route. What Do You Take Me For? was awesome as well.
I sat next to her last year at the Disneyland Hotel in Paris and she is TINY in real life, like a stick! I didn't want to interrupt her whilst she was eating but she is also stunning in the flesh
I liked her first album so I hope not. She should really release some new music before she gets too forgotten, although this year Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and Cher Lloyd are all releasing new music so I think she might end up being in their shadow if she releases new music at the wrong time.
Her first few singles were hits (though I wasn't a fan) and it looked like she would have a successful career ahead of her as a mid-level pop star. I believe she jumped on the trend of tacky club songs after that, but I haven't hear much about her in the last two or three years.
I remember seeing her at Manchester Pride promoting What Do You Want From Me? And she did an acoustic set, clearly the wrong market for that kind of thing and it just seemed really odd.
I'd like her to do well, she is a good singer and with her first album she did songs that were relevant to the times and something special.

She got this accusation right from the off of her second album campaign but I don't think she did.
The first single from album #2 didn't really differ much from the uptempos of her first album. In fact I don't think any of the singles differed much from the style of her first album.
It seemed to me people just expected her to go down that route and simply believed she did regardless.

 Guys? What guys? I bet she doesn't even know. Maybe she thinks Motown was in New York. Some people honestly don't deserve the attention they receive.

She's going to go and do an album now that would put Diana Ross to shame, just to make you feel silly...
She wasn't ever that good in the first place and always had a shelf life. She had a huge run of moderately successful singles that sold the album something which her second album couldn't replicate and as she has lost momentum i don't see her doing well anymore.

Are they still alive? Perhaps her next album will be called 'Pixie in the Underworld'.

Throwaway music

Or not.
I love both those songs.
