Zero Dark Thirty - The Bigelow/Boal combination really comes up trumps with a riveting film that really should have won the Best Film oscar imo. 9.5/10
It was alright. Not as good as previous Muppet films though, and the kids got a bit fidgetty during it. It definitely wasn't as good as...
The Pirates! In An Adventure... - 8/10
We loved this film Have watched quite a few kids films over the last week and this has been the best of the bunch. Some very funny parts, and the kids loved it.
Saw Compliance tonight very disturbing kept thinking oh my god this actually happened, could tell people in the cinema were wanting to shout at the characters.
First seen this film a few years ago, but couldn't remember much so I decided to rewatch it again tonight. Fantastic from the brilliant David Fincher. A terrific serial killer film based on a true story.

I watched this a few days ago too. Utterly mental. Cannot believe it actually happened. How cruel some people are, and, it has to be said also, how stupid some can be.
Interview with a Hitman - Luke Goss as a Romanian hitman, ultra low budget but very well done and reasonably acted for the most part 6/10.
Extraction - Low budget Inception style sci fi thriller, had the feel of a tvpilot movie. The plot however was concieved well enough to make it worth a look. 6/10
I finaly got round to seeing Dog Day Afternoon .
I thought Al Pacino was great very funny in parts and I liked it but didnt think it was the worthy Oscar winner people seem to think it is.
I'm re-watching Martin Scorsese movies. Watched Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, both of which I hadn't seen for well over a decade, both great imo.
Then yesterday I re-watched Goodfellas, which I actually enjoyed more this time around. i used to think that Ray Liotta's performance was a bit weak, but this time around I thought he was very good. Another film I hadn't seen for a long time.
Next up is Casino, and then The King of Comedy. After that I think I'll try some of his films that I've never watched before.
Have you seen Mean Streets? It's a little quirky, but not bad.

The King of Kong. Very good documentary about a guys determination to break the 20 year old gaming record for Donkey Kong . Funny in parts too.
Shark Night - Pretty awful B movie about well,,,,,, take a guess .
Agree 100%
Did not remember it being funny. Not sure if it was meant to be.

So-so 70's US conspiracy film, not as good as I remembered. Still, Redford is always a good watch.
Les Miserables for the third time.:o

Gangs of New York is worth seeing. imo.
Enjoyable, but I thought it was going to be more of a 'Haunted House' type film...Hated the horse bit...:(
