i also could set off explosives at some important place, causing deaths and mutilations
i don't drive myself, but i COULD, and then i could mow down many many innocent pedestrians

I'm 34, have been employed most my working life, but have on three separate occasions found myself redundant and on the dole, claiming both Job Seekers and Housing Benefit.
The way I see it though, is that I've paid far more into the system than I've taken out, and it's a safety net I'm entitled to.
Yes, it's demeaning, and yes, when you're in the jobcentre waiting in the queue for your fortnightly meeting, it's an eye opening experience. I had to sign on at Wavertree Road job centre in Liverpool, and it was like the Star Wars bar scene on Tatooine where Luke and Kenobi find Hans Solo, but even so, the vast majority of folk on benefits find it soul destroying and are genuinely searching for work.

Genuine benefit scroungers volunteer to go on the show.
Actually the real crime is that the benefit system is responsible for the Jeremy Kyle Show.
How long it lasts depends upon Mr Cameron. Once he decides we are fed up hating benefit getters he will switch. Actually my wife thinks that benefit haters has gone now and it has changed to childrens' allowance getters. He can carry on finding people for us to hate for a long time yet, though I understand it will stop some time in 2015.
That's the trouble with Labour. The only people they hate is the ones who are actually screwing us.
