Have a question about one particular film so hope it's not really OT.
Jurassic Park 2 - All the crew have been eaten or at least there is not a lot left of them BUT T-Rex is still in the hold. What ate them?
Another thing, at the end of a scene say in a police/murder type drama (esp TV movies) someone comes in with a bit of info and everyone, usually 3-5 people go silent then all exchange long looks. Eyes getting googlier (is this a word?) and as scene fades the eyes start darting

re the BIB
always when they hug, you see the eyes of one of them ....
Why is it, when anyone falls to their death from a high rise building, they always land on a car?
I would not say always, but another good point is why when people fall from great heights they land with a thud.
They don't.
If you've ever been unfortunate to witness such an event, the sound is almost like a pane of glass shattering. That will be the bones in your body...and believe me, the body hardly stays in one piece either...it can be quite a mess.
I have always wondered when scenes of devastation, explosions, mayhem etc are fimed on location, who cleans up the mess afterwards? Of all the various jobs on a movie set, you never hear of one for that.
Another good example, which you used to see a lot in older movies, was a car going off the road and tumbling down a mountain...surely someone had to go down there and clear all the debris away?
why don't americans have handles on their shopping bags ? I see it all the time in american shows and films , they carry their groceries in these brown paper bags with no handles !

...and there will always be a baguette poking out! (I know why, props dressers do it so it immediately signifies "groceries" as opposed to "bag of old clothes/shoes/garbage/whatever)
Why are helicopters so quiet in movies? I live near and airport, RAF base and army range - helicopters can be heard long before you see them but not in movies.
Our hero will be on the top of a building, everything is quiet, not a sound. Then the bad guy's helicopter rises into the shot and then and only then, do we hear it.
why is it when you see a scene set in a club, the music blaring out really loud when they first enter, but when they have a conversation, they can just magically talk normally to each other without having to yell in to each others ears like you normally have to?
I was watching Strange Days last night and this happened several times. Live band blasting away on stage at deafening volume. Then switch to a couple of people sitting in the club. Just talking away quite normally, and magically the live band turned into gentle background music..
Why does a stationary patrol car, even if it's been parked at a scene for hours, have to have it's red and blue lights flashing?
Why is there always a silent PC stood staring into space at the door to every police interview? The only people who should be in an interview are those involved in an interview.
Why does every station need a sergeant manning the front desk? This is not a police role and is a civilian role. If a cop was at the desk, it would undoubtedly only be a PC.
Why does no one ever use an electric kettle?
Why do helicopters always crash behind a hill or a row of trees?
Why do people always hammer on the telephone rest in the hope it will reconnect them?
Why do people always rip pages out of phone books or newspapers in libraries?
Why do movie guns fire when people drop them?
Why do car windscreens magically deflect bullets when they shatter?
Why does Ben Drew think he's black?
Why do people use fire extinguishers for everything except putting out fires?
Why can no one ever resist the temptation to stick their fingers in a pool of blood as soon as they see one?
Why are all pathologists wildly eccentric?
Why does Michelle Rodrigues have to die in almost every one of her movies?

Because it offers a better or more interesting sound effect.
My question: why does every character use chopsticks when having a Chinese takeaway?

yeah - but amercians DO have perfect teeth.
they even refer to English teeth.
Why do people always ask where the bathroom is when they're obviously looking for the toilet?
