I don't understand why people moan and whinge about what is in the Daily Mail. I find a lot of what is written in the Guardian to be equally bad but that's the nature of politically biased newspapers.
What is in the Guardian that is equally as bad as what is in the Mail?
For a start, the Mail website is basically a soft porn site and the Guardians isn't.
LOL. You must work for a PR company employed by the Mail.
You claim that the mail tells it as it is then go on to use a generalisation to try and back that up. If you had figures and links to back up what you claim the mail is claiming, it would give your, and the mail's, views some credence .
Yep. It's a conspiracy. Anyone who sticks up for the Mail is either
This thread is about the Left not liking the Mail.
No it is not. You've obviously not read the thread properly then. The thread is about an article that was written after the death of Michael Foot which said bad things but they have a problem with people doing that with Margaret Thatcher. Next time read what the OP has started the thread for before posting.

There is a massive difference between criticising someone's policy's and the bile the Left comes out with.
I don't recall anyone releasing a song satirising Foot, to coincide with his funeral.
The Ding Dong song hasn't been released to coincide with Thatcher's funeral. If some people want to buy it, that's up to them – it's a free country. Anyhow, maybe some people just like the song?
Or maybe they just like sitting there laughing at the Left as the very mention of the Mail sends their blood pressure through the roof
:D:D:D
The Mail online, with 45.3m readers, is now one of the leading online newspapers beating even the New York Times (44.8m). The Daily Mail has a readership of over 4m and The Mail on Sunday over 5m,
There must be a lot of stupid people around is all I can say and me being one of them...

Just goes to prove that the policy of writing controversial 'click-bait' stories works. Even those who hate the Mail will likely visit the site to see what the latest hoo-ha is all about.

Actually it has been that popular for quite some time, nothing to do the Mrs Thatcher..
Because it tells it as it is. The Left cannot stand, for example, how the Mail points out how the benefit culture in the UK has so corrupted some people's behaviour.
You are joking - aren't you ? I can see you have been corrupted by the Daily Mail
Like I said all Daily Mail readers are perceived as idiots etc.
Mainly because they disagree with the likes of you......
Actually I read the mail online so therefore am qualified to have an opinion , however , I do not take anything it says seriously . You just have to read readers comments to see how they wind people up , and that means, the more comments an article gets the better for them. I take most of what they print with a pinch of salt otherwise I would spend all my time being miserable and angry
I expect they would have if he'd ever been Prime Minister. Leaders of the Opposition don't attract quite the same level of hatred from their political enemies - just wait till Tony Blair dies.
I think that it will be a strange situation when he goes actually cos we're likely to get the right doing the praising and the left doing the criticism . Similar to this week I would guess. I don't know what song they would push to number one though.

So how come I am corrupted by the Mail and you are not?
Just out of interest, why are those on the Left (especially on this forum) so obsessed with the Daily Mail - most Tory supporters that I know dont read it so what makes it so powerful in the minds of those on the Left?
It is odd the hatred that the left has for the Daily Mail - I think it stems from its website being so popular (most popular English language news website in the world) - so the site has so much influence.
I do find the site very readable, but often ludicrous. You have glaring inconsistencies of tone, such as an article by Peter Hitchens lamenting the moral decline of Britain, then endless paparazzi shots of celebs wearing next to no clothes. the reason for this is that everything is based on being 'click bait' and getting as many hits as possible. the alternative is to go behind a paywall as the Times and Telegraph do.

What has she got to do with it?

Yep. It's a conspiracy. Anyone who sticks up for the Mail is either
A stupid
B nasty
C paid
D naive
Or all 4.
Or maybe they just like sitting there laughing at the Left as the very mention of the Mail sends their blood pressure through the roof
Agreed. They call the Daily Mail the Daily Hate.
And you can see from their posts that they are the ones consumed with hate and jealousy.
There is a massive difference between criticising someone's policy's and the bile the Left comes out with.
Trouble is you see criticising someone's policies as bile. Typical blinkered rightie thinking
You should see the bile the right comes out with about people like Galloway, Scargill or Brown

Err no I don't.
I see things like ding dong as bile.
You are joking - aren't you ? I can see you have been corrupted by the Daily Mail
And how many on the right would have street parties or buy songs about a witch dying when they die?
I would wager none.
Like I said all Daily Mail readers are perceived as idiots etc.

Too true.
Hypocrisy in the extreme.

Read my post - I do not take it seriously or see it as a 'news' paper- but, mind you, the femail section is quite good
Point nicely avoided
