They should change the concept, if you can park your car inbetween the cops teeth then you win the car.

Personally, I've always felt it weird that you can pass your test and be allowed on the road without ever experiencing a motorway scenario.

    Here comes the 'police officer'

Has any police force actually laid claim to our prize car cop?

I really think they need to add motorway driving to a test somehow - after they have passed a normal test of course or make pass plus compulsory or something. Seems silly that a newly qualified driver can be let loose by themselves on a motorway.

So how come James, the unemployed one, is the one driving in the car yet the employed one doesn't do the driving.. ?

Motorway or A road. I never touched a dual carriageway when learning, my instructor purely taught me to pass the test around the local roads I'd be tested on.

The only dual carriageway experience I had was in my parents car with my family.

I avoided the motorway for about 6 months until I suddenly went on the motorway without realising.. I just did it when I was ready, or without knowing I had done it..lol But to tell you the truth I wasn't anything like the lass...

If I didn't do my Pass Plus I would have had no clue what to do on the motorway and to an extent the dual carriageways either. I probably could have done it (despite my previous post) but I didn't know any theory behind it.

That's what I thought. I bet she doesn't get the car, she's the same one who came to the newspapers a few weeks ago claiming she was unfairly duped into the programme and it (not her) made her look stupid. Hahahaha :D

How come none of those guys, with their phones didn't have GPS on them. They could have found a way out of Newcastle that way..

Really? I was on a dual carriageway going 65'ish on my 3rd lesson.

A roads should definitely be on a test imo as they are pretty unavoidable and some are basically motorways - if not more dangerous with the shorter slip roads, roundabouts, etc you have to navigate on A roads.

Not really surprised given that every police force in Britain has probably had complaints by now.
