With great regret, P!nk has been forced to postpone her concert tonight (Monday 22nd April) at the LG Arena, Birmingham.
A Doctor visited P!nk this afternoon and confirmed that she is suffering from an inner ear and respiratory infection, and on medical advice she has been advised that she cannot perform tonight.
Absolutely gutted.
Was supposed to be going tonight.
Of all the dates I cannot believe the one I was supposed to go to was cancelled, but she can't help it and there's thousands of others feeling the same.

I was meant to be going too, rushed home from work and everything all excited and then heard the news
BUT lets look on the bright side: The show has been postponed, not cancelled. So we will get to see her at a later date. Plus, imagine how horrible it would have been if she had tried to soldier through it, performed one or two songs and then had to quit? That would have then been a cancellation with no chance of seeing her again unless repaying for the tickets.
Better to have known beforehand - but no one apparently could tell last night?
I've just been really building up to it though and the last time I saw her in Bham she couldn't perform Sober due to the trapeze safety issues.
Better to be safe than sorry, I guess. She doesn't seem like someone who would cancel or postpone unless absolutely forced to.
That's what I said. I can imagine she'd really want to try - I think that's probably why she called the doctor out.
Message from Pink on Twitter:
I just hope we get to see the same kinda performance she's doing now, with Try, on those ropes etc.
I just don't know where she's going to reschedule us into because her tour is jam packed:

Between 31st May and 25th June is the only logical one I can see.
But I hope she gets well soon. I wonder if she felt ill yesterday; she was amazing regardless.
Sorry for you OP and everybody else who couldn't go.
yeh thats what i thought. hoping she'll do the new hydro arena in glasgow
I think she knows that already - I wouldn't tweet anything like that because it won't do us any favours to get a reschedule.
She's so bad ass I'm pretty sure she'll have been forced to cancel - I'm really disappointed too but I'm trying to imagine how she's feeling cancelling on 15,000 people.
She's so likeable.
I hope by we you don't mean everyone in this thread because I'm certainly not. Disappointed, yes, but not at her
i think you are being very harsh.for gods sake she's still a human being its not her fault that shes ill. and if her doctor told her not to perform she must be actually no well, i wish people would remember that shes still a human being who, believe it or not, actually gets ill sometimes!!!!!! I know its hard to believe!!
Are you serious? Its the first date she has had to cancel which she hardly does unlike others. As others have said she is human and gets ill too.
I'm a huge fan who was supposed to go tonight, and even as disappointed as I am, I can still see this for the rubbish it is.
All atritsts cancel from time to time i remember Ian Gillan in 1982 cancelling some shows on the "Magic" tiour as he had "Nodules" on his throat.
Not cancelled many since though.:)
I know, its a shame when they do, but knowing like Pink and the artist you mention hardly cancelling and then people claiming she comes and goes as she pleases is annoying when she only cancels when she has too.
I've been very lucky to go to a show which hasn't been postponed, or cancelled and was lucky to see Pink last night and you would not have known she was ill
I saw Heavy Rock artist Micheal Schenker last nigh in Norwich he raely cancels like pink even though they are different genres.
Glad tyou enjoyed your show last night.:)
Sounds good, I hope you enjoyed your show as well
Whatever you say
Thanks yes just getting my hearing back.:D
