Do you mean the current Mark Waid run? If so, agreed. Might just be the single best title that Marvel's putting out right now.
Well, I don't really read comics these days. Not because I think they all suck or that I am above that... just lost contact and only very occasionally find something that comes to my attention. reading your's and mred2000's response, I have found reason to take a look at DD today (or with the Bendis & Brubaker, possibly "yesterday"). So thanks to the both of you.
I was an avid comicbook collector/reader back in the 70s. And had my favorites, Daredevil was top of my list overall (though maybe not right up until the end) by the time I faded from the scene as it were... Nothing too superpowerful, good characters, and not tied to 23 books
My favorite comics is Birds of Prey. It is the best series in comics. Birds of prey are birds that hunt for food primarily via flight, using their keen senses, especially vision.
I have a pretty good collection of The Flash but tbh I love Jonah Hex and wish I had a few more but DC don't seem to be interested in doing the old reprints

My fav would have to be Scream a horror comic from the 80's of course the right wing gutter
press got it banned too violent and scary for kids they said
My favourite is Green Lantern, I love all stories from that series as well as the others like Green Lantern Corps etc.
My specific favourite storylines are The Sinestro Corps War, Blackest Night and War of the Green Lanterns.
I also love X-men, specific stories for me that are faves are Dark Phoenix, Age of Apocolypse and Avengers vs X-men.

Also anything to do with the X-Men.
Just all-around excellent.
I've just read the three collected Bendis omnibus editions and the first Brubaker omnibus. Excellent stuff!
Fave comic at the mo goes to Saga.

Brillant. Frank Bellamy's version of Thunderbirds is magnificent.
The artwork is fantastic (John Buscema was pretty awesome) but never really got into the stories, sorry
Harry's doctor? I'd forgotten about those, haven't read them in years...
