I saw the article earlier this evening but they didn't seem to confirm if there was a bomb or not - have they confirmed there was definitely a bomb onboard the van?.
ETA - Oops, guess I was too slow to post, people have replied above me.
I'd imagine if they had found a bomb, it would have made it on the six o'clock news(?) I missed the start but I didn't hear anything about this on the news when I had it on.
Early today a corner of Gatwick Airport North Terminal was closed off - It's now been announced that a - "Controlled explosions have been carried out on a suspicious van at Gatwick Airport."
A bomb disposal man's dream, an incorrectly parked van. Cordon the place off, a couple of tea breaks later, blow the doors off and then announce there was nothing in it.

Wait and see.
Sounds like you are admitting responsibility, I've a good mind to make a virtual citizens arrest on counter terrorism grounds
A van (not a bomb) a VAN was found at Gatwick Airport you mean?
News sources would be all over this, if it WAS a bomb (or any suggestion that this could of been a van containing a bomb).
Do it! Book him, Danno!
was it a bus?

I always remember, once, Prince Charles came to visit the company i worked for. Beforehand the place crawled with cops checking every crevice.
Anyway, they found a suspicious package in the lift machinery room, almost had to carry out a controlled explosion .........
............. until of course the maintenance guy went in and collected his sandwich box !!!!
haha, yes, past tense

Sorry occy, no breaking news story here as people are already discussing it elsewhere.

If you were going to just dump a van, why do it in an expensive car park crawling with CCTV?
