It's not beyond the realms of possibility that one of JLS could do it alongside the farewell tour (Kimbo managed to juggle her dancing commitments with her solo album and Girls Aloud reunion)
The difference is that the dates didnt clash - JLS tour is in December, Girls Aloud was in March. JLS members are a possibility for 2014, the only way any of them will be on this years series is if they change dates of their final tour which I can't see happening.
Mel C is on the Jesus Christ Superstar tour for most of October and then joins Jools Holland's tour for November and December. So she's a no this year.
Gregg Wallace has wanted to do it for a couple of years, and anyone watching Masterchef this year may have noticed he's lost shedloads of weight recently, Paul Hollywood said on the One Show recently that he'd do it if asked - he was rumoured last year thanks to Chris Evans putting him on the spot ! I'm not sure if BBC would have two foodies but I think we will be seeing one of these chaps.

Yes he has lost a lot of weight, whenever I go to certain website - I always see Gregg's inane, grinning face advertising a certain weight loss company I think he's desperate to do it because he loves attention - I don't like him or John Torode but Gregg Wallace really is insufferable imo - I had to stop watching Masterchef because of him because I could no longer stand his shouty, pantomime antics and some of his judging is questionable to say the least!! I really don't want to see him on the Strictly, I think he'd be unbearable - his ego would go into overdrive and I'd feel very sorry for the pro that would get paired with him
I'd much rather see Paul Hollywood - he comes across on GBBO as such a sweet guy and I really enjoyed his recent series on bread making I've no idea what kind of dancer he'd make but I'm sure he'd give it his best shot and treat his pro partner with respect - I suspect like most older male celebs his ballroom would be better than his latin.
Apparently she get's asked but as she is known for dancing, she doesn't want to take part and lose.
I'm fully expecting Cilla Black next year, along with Paul Hollywood, Fabrice Muamba and an EastEnder.
I'm just catching up ...
Cilla Black defines the word diva, would probably be unbearable along with expected to be called Ms Black:eek:
Paul Hollywood, oh yes ....
On a more serious note, although it would be wonderful to see Fabrice Muamba he probably wouldn't be allowed for medical reasons. I know he appeared on the Christmas Special but that was a one off. He has had to give up football and must keep a very careful check on his health. Good luck to Fabrice, what a guy.

Yes apparently, according to quite a lot of posters on the showbiz forum she's a very unpleasant person allegedly There's always been something about her that I haven't liked tbh. Luckily though on one of the rare occasions that I've watched 'Loose Women' and I saw her interviewed she said she's already been offered it and turned it down - I think if I remember rightly her reason was because she was older she wouldn't be in with much of chance of doing well - I suppose she could always change her mind like Jerry Hall did but hopefully she won't.
It would have been nice to see Fabrice do a full series - he was so enthusiastic in the Christmas Special but I think you're right - his health is more important and it might be too much of a health risk for him to do it - I think producers have to be really careful with sports people with previous health problems - you only have to look at what happened with Gareth Tomas on DOI. Still it's nice to see Fabrice is continuing to dance - there was a online pic of him dancing with Lilia at a recent event.

Talking of Loose Women, I've a feeling one of them will be chucked into the mix - Sherrie Hewson or, more likely, Jane McDonald. I would actually love Jane to do it - she's hilarious and is not afraid to take the mickey out of herself. I reckon she'd be a perfect fit for Anton,,,.

If anything, the "Loose Women" would be more likely to go on DOI. Andrea, Denise and Coleen all did it whilst they were on there (in Coleen's case). Carol V did Strictly before she went on to the show. I have a feeling that someone did a Christmas Special at one point but not a full series.
Sherrie strikes me as a DOI person, whilst Jane, I'd love to see her do "I'm a Celeb", reckon she'd be great on that.

It's been nineteen weeks since Strictly ended - another nineteen weeks from today (technically yesterday as I'm posting after midnight) and we'll be at the launch show for series 11.
Tess has just said on TM that names start filtering through in the summer and that one name has been mentioned which "really whets the appetite". Sadly (and typically), she gave nothing else away...

Could be another battle of the bands with Mel v Marvin

Marvin will be on tour with JLS too.
Cheryl Cole ? Very unlikely but her name was bound to come up .

That is a shame, especially about Mel.
My head hurts...
Following this announcement, could Mr O'Sullivan be in the frame?
I see not...
He'd need many a rest.
Just something to keep us buoyant...
As he is retiring because of having to have a hip operation in the summer - and already has a pacemaker.... I would doubt it....:rolleyes:
I would love to see Mel C on Strictly and Geri too.
Vanessa would be a great addition to the show.
