hotmail I use mostly now
I really don't like the new Outlook - it is horrible, but it's the address that everybody has for me.
I do have a gmail account. Maybe I should start using that more.
Sorry to be pedantic but none of these are email clients. They are email providers.
An email client is something else. I suppose at a push the AOL software might be considered one.
I did wonder about the word "client" I thought it was some sort of ITSpeak.
So what IS an email client, then ?
Maybe it's all part of the plot to find out every detail about FMs, drip...drip stylee...
What town do you live in?
What is your blood group?
What browser do you use?
How tall are you?
What colour are your eyes?
How much do you weigh?
What colour is your front door?
What is your inside leg measurement?
What is your husband / lover / boss / newsagent's inside leg measurement?
Which side of the Atlantic has the best restaurants/healthcare/politicians/pyramidsellers/godparents ?
An email client is software that runs on your computer/phone, etc that displays the email as opposed to viewing it via a website.
Examples would be Windows Live Mail, Outlook 2007, Thunderbird, the iPhone or Android mail apps, etc.
Uh oh
Technically it doesn't have to be a program running on a computer. It might be better to call it webmail, but the browser access is still a client in the strictest sense.
AOL
Outlook.
Gmail
MSN.
I actually hope you're right, because at least then there would be some remote reason for anybody to give a single toss about what email clients we all use.:D
