agrainofsand - your name is inspired by Blake, I suppose?

Mine is from the band Pearl Jam. Means I must be a wee grungy rocker.

Mine is a combination of my two pet guinea pigs' names back when I joined, so I suppose it hints at me being an animal lover. They were an adorable little pair, who made four beautiful baby girls around the same time. Also love the forgetful little fish 'Dory' from 'Finding Nemo' because I am forgetful and a bit dim but mean well!

I was singing the bibidi bobidi boo song to myself when I registered.

I changed the letter i to a y so logging in wouldn't require so many of the same characters to get right.

I have no idea what that says about me...

Even though it makes no sense to me whatsoever, I love that little song! Didn't Angela Lansbury sing it? I love her too.

Wish I had a tenner for every time I've done a Jackie Stallone impression when I've seen your username in GD.

Your usernames evolve given over a decade online though, eh?

Mine here was chosen because I once called myself LaraCroft elsewhere and was endlessly pestered by strange men.

In an effort to repel them, I changed my username there to AnneWiddecombe. I got even more pervy men pestering me.

So I changed it again to DixonOfDockgreen only to be endlessly mithered by people wanting to be arrested or wanting me to arrest someone for them....

As a result, when I came here, knowing Id be stuck with the same username forever,
I decided to pick something big, fat and hairy and vaguely male sounding
to knock down the PM count. It worked!

Hogzilla ~your reply is hilarious xx Laughing lots here :D:D

I'd been watching 'Think Fast, Father Ted' on DVD a day or so before registering.

Remy is my real name. Clarke is my nickname. If there's a Remy Clarke reading this, then this is awkward.

It's my nickname, plus a few letters (football-related) because 'carlos' was already taken.

    Same here!

You used to be able to view the list of members, and it really bugged me seeing the usernames I'd tried to join with had never ever posted!

Do you get, y'know... suggestive messages?

A friend of mine, who is 44 years old, went on internet dating. She had to choose a username, and noticing that many people had tacked on the year they were born, she chose 'Herfirstname_NameofTownshesfrom_69'.

She closed that account after too many descriptive suggestions and invitations from both sexes. :D
