Mine is a combination of my two pet guinea pigs' names back when I joined, so I suppose it hints at me being an animal lover. They were an adorable little pair, who made four beautiful baby girls around the same time. Also love the forgetful little fish 'Dory' from 'Finding Nemo' because I am forgetful and a bit dim but mean well!

Mine here was chosen because I once called myself LaraCroft elsewhere and was endlessly pestered by strange men.
In an effort to repel them, I changed my username there to AnneWiddecombe. I got even more pervy men pestering me.
So I changed it again to DixonOfDockgreen only to be endlessly mithered by people wanting to be arrested or wanting me to arrest someone for them....
As a result, when I came here, knowing Id be stuck with the same username forever,
I decided to pick something big, fat and hairy and vaguely male sounding
to knock down the PM count. It worked!

A friend of mine, who is 44 years old, went on internet dating. She had to choose a username, and noticing that many people had tacked on the year they were born, she chose 'Herfirstname_NameofTownshesfrom_69'.
She closed that account after too many descriptive suggestions and invitations from both sexes.
