To be fair, that's your problem, not anybody else's.
I try to avoid making errors in the first place. It happens, of course it does. But it's sensible to proof read your post before submitting it, to prevent the above scenario that irritates you so much.
And you don't think I do that. Sometimes, I need to modify posts, due to typos and clarification of information, which can take some time.
You do realise I'm pretty certain I'm partly dyslexic, although not diagnosed as of yet, as I make frequent typos, miss words out and type double words all the time.
To be even fairer, the post you are talking about wasn't relevant to the thread in question, so I agree with Pull2Open who said you weren't comparing like with like. You weren't.
Well, on this occasion, we'll have to agree to disagree.
Remember the conversation we had at the time? Those points still stand.
Talking about conversations, have you got any response to the last two PMs I sent you, which AFAIK were never replied to. Currently, I've got 299 PMs in my DS box. The limit is 300.

Sure, fair enough, but how is that any easier to check after you've posted it than it was before? It's the same text. In the same font.

If you think you are dyslexic, that's even more reason to proof read and use a good spell checker. My daughter has to do this all the time.
Haven't checked PMs, to be honest. I'll do it now!

Because, at the time, even though I have re-read the post more than once, I didn't see the errors. So, if I check later, before the editing time limit (30 minutes), I might spot them then.
That's another thing I find annoying. People who reply too quickly after you've posted, before you've had time to edit/fix errors and make available additional information. 2 minutes in your case. I can't tell you what to do on a forum, obviously, but don't be surprised if what you've quoted is different from my final edit. Luckily, in this case, it wasn't applicable.
No doubt, I've done the same, but I do try to avoid, the 'instantly post after someone else has' syndrome.
There's another FM who can probably relate to this problem.

Of course not, but it might take me more than 30 minutes to spot the errors.
You could just write total shit with errors a plenty and thinly disguised profanities galore. And not give a toss about the inevitable fall out. Works for me...hoozah.
I use my cat as a dishwasher. Just throw the whole lot in the bath with the reluctant beast and hold it under till the jobs done. Remarkably efficient.

What about baked on grime, won't the cat die before its clean?

EDIT- on the same background.
You stole my thunder
or avail oneself of the preview facility.
Haven't checked PMs, to be honest. I'll do it now!
Starting to really like these dishwasher insults.
bah
your grandaughter doesn't know how to use a dishwasher
:D Sadly you are right. That is what floors are for apparently.

Yeah.
I see from my PM inbox, we've had a bit of a history regarding one thread in particular.
I'd forgotten about it to be honest, but there you go.
There's another FM who can probably relate to this problem.
You want people to wait 30 MINUTES???
It'll certainly slow things down around here!
Nobody tell the CTAM people. It'll break their weird little hearts.
You replied after a mere 9 minutes stoatie, shame on you!
Of course not, but it might take me more than 30 minutes to spot the errors.
I'll bet you mean me XYZ...
You and your Mum own a dishwasher.
Which kind of makes the whole thing somewhat moot, surely?
Why is any of this the fault of the person replying?
What are we even arguing about here?

Yep, of course I did!!
My Mum does but I don't. I HATE dishwashers!
I think I posted in that thread.
IIRC, at the time, somebody couldn't add up.
Might have been me.
I bet that caused chaos in the thread.
What about baked on grime, won't the cat die before its clean?
Or do you have a supply of dishcats?
