That metal tea/coffee pot situation is certainly true.
Yes - and also rather elderly. I saw Ben Elton doing jokes about those teapots and service stations about 25 years ago.
I think the only thing more painful than this show is watching it with Mr M who thinks it is utterly hilarious. So, Little Miss Mazz, the cat and I are sitting stony faced whilst Mr Mazz practically has a coronary because he is laughing so much.

It's an old Ben elton routine from 1993.
I can't believe how buttock clenchingly awful Beattie edmondson is in this. The daughter of ade and Jennifer too!

So Scots as well as Southerners think we all sound the same, listening to Ewan McGregor's accent in Brassed Off and Robert Carlisle's in The Full Monty I can well believe it.
This afternoon we suffered Alexei Sayle as a sarf Londoner in Lovejoy.
Grim.
it is total shite, but the mayor character deserves a spin off (spin off deserves character the mayor )
Serious be you cannot!! I'm one of the few people that actually like the show, but the only thing I can't stand is that idiotic cross between Yoda and Bruce Forsyth

Yes equity have set the barrier for membership somewhere in the gutter in order for her to get an equity card.

Can I have some of whatever he's on?
So that's how she got the role...
Loved The Thin Blue Line
There's no need to be cynical.....I'm sure her audition was simply superb and much better than all the other actresses
I think you have a choice....could you be specific?:D

It was worse, the cleaner wasn't even in it!
And I'm sure that applies to the other actors who are getting all the jobs, and just happen to be related to well known actors.
'Doctor Marten's! Doctor Marten's! Doctor Marten's boots!'
' 'Ullo John, gotta new motah!?'
I used to work with her, she definitely doesn't sound anything like that character. She's incredibly bad in this though...:o
The point is she's doing an amalgamation of other characters she's seen on tv and hasn't brought anything new to the role.

Easily the worst IMO, never thought I would miss the cleaners 'Mr Wright!' appearance.
I'm waiting for the jokes about the British weather and how you wait ages for a bus and then 2 turn up at once!
Yes equity have set the barrier for membership somewhere in the gutter in order for her to get an equity card.
But the casting couch is her true friend.:D
Has this show jumped the shark ?
Where was the cleaning lady misconstruing Mr Wrights thrusting ?
Oh well, maybe she will pop up next week.
