I'm not able to access YT from work, so I'll have a listen when I get home, but one of my all time favs while living and growing up in England was Lulu's "To Sir With Love"...now that's a classic!!
the use of the possessive pronoun his is the clue...
i.e. if that grammar is his, then he has that grammar...
or to use the definition:
"if that use of language is his", then "he has that (particular) use of (the) language"
Possessive pronouns include my, mine, our, ours, its, his, her, hers, their, theirs, your, yours, whose, and one's - all words that demonstrate ownership.
Agreed. Possibly the most consistently brilliant songwriters of the '60s. That includes Lennon/McCartney who wrote some duds amongst the gems, something David/Bacharach never seemed to do. They also wrote some great powerful ballads as well.
I love classic music. Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald. Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller...and going forward from there, I love Motown, Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, The Carpenters, Joni Mitchell...
I am not anti-modern or even anti-mainstream but nothing beats the "classics" for me.
I agree. Why do people do this? I never click on random links and I know I'm not the only one.
What's the big deal?......you've only gotta click on the link and if you don't want to watch it click off again.........is it that difficult?

Look up the meaning of the word courtesy. My dislike for links without description isn't down to whether clicking on them is a big deal or not.

Why the embarassment? No, need at all. It is a great song. Burt Bacharach and Hal David wrote many many great songs:

Meh, anyone who has crap grammar deserves to have bad jokes thrown at them.
Ironically, I don't think it's possible to "have" grammar.
When I first typed that, I'd put 'possibly' rather than 'possible'. Ack. Muphry's Law!
i think it is possible, if you use meaning 5a in this definition of grammar, according to collins dictionary:

Agree. Peggy Lee was awesome.
A lot of music over 50 years old is close to perfection, something you can't say about most music less that 20 years old (imo).
