Fair play to Nick this morning. Understanding and fair interview with long term unemployed man with illness preventing working who can't get the health care he needs. Non judgemental and factual sympathetic interview. Well done. My opinion of you has gone up! Journalists need to be impartial.
That is because it fitted in with this morning's narrative. I can assure that if the story was about "benefit scroungers" having children, he would have ripped him apart.
Wasn't it the Nazis who felt these sort of people should be euthanised? I am the very last person who thinks the population should be increased, but it's not this person's fault he is ill or his children can't find work. Good luck to him I say. Have you thought he may be a Catholic and anti birth control?
That's somewhat OTT.. I was commenting on Ferrari's response, not expressing my own. But as you seem interested, I feel that it's selfish to bring children into the world if your family circumstances are such that they start their life qualifying as a number in the child poverty statistics.

Err.....no, I think you were expressing your own opinion on the man.
Everyone is a capitalist at heart? Eh? You may well be, but I would beg to differ.
Of course, some/most politicians are selfish and greedy no matter what side of the House they sit on. But that's their problem; I don't think it's valid to extrapolate that to include everybody.
I hope your not living under the illusion that only the selfish and greedy live among the rich and powerful?
If you lived in a cardboard box under the Southbank there would be somebody envying it, somebody wanting to take it from you or-if they could not have it- smash it up, somebody annoyed that it is was in a better spot than theirs

Or that all rich and powerful people are selfish and greedy. You can't be a philanthropist without having a few bob to spare.

I think the point is that you shouldn't need philanthropists, if everyone paid their taxes etc in the first place, there would be more than enough to go round and provide excellent services.
I wonder if we're allowed to bid for Afternon tea at the Langham WITHOUT SA.
It's an enticing thought.
I was wondering the same thing about lunch with J O'B, which includes in it's billing: During your lunch you will be able to hear all about James’ media career beginning in national newspaper journalism and moving over to broadcasting
After the recent discussion on acceptable words on air..
James had a caller who used the expression 'work my arse off' and then immediately checked if that phrase was OK for airing.
James said he didn't think that was one of the words they had to apologise for.
However, David Mellor had to refrain from using 'bastards' last week, even though he was only quoting John Major, after someone apparently complained from a previous occurrence.

Chin, Catholics have ways of getting around that problem.
I don't think I have ever done a poll. I shall be doing a poll on the most boring LBC presenter. Please may I have some suggestions? My ideas so far are Clive Bull, Anthony and Steve Allen. Many thanks.
Sack all the presenters they are all garbage I could do better than these mugs.
Chris moyles, Iain lee, james whale all in the other nutters on lbc will be sacked.
If I was in charge of management.I'd make lbc a fun and sometimes serious place.
I'd keep steve Allen for his loyalty to lbc.But the rest you're fired.

I'm gonna agree with those three.
Just a few years ago I would have said they were possibly my favourite three: what happened?:(
If we can go back over time I'm gonna say Mike Mendoza, boring boring ... and had his wife on the overnight show who was even more boring .. she devoted a lot of time trying to persuade us to buy Dr Bach's herbal remedies. Fascinating:D

Yeah....because disabled people shouldn't have children

That is your opinion, not anyone else's.

Sorry, but that seems like fact to me, rather than opinion.
On the same subject, the woman who was on before him, spoke very well, and very confident. She sounded like a natural broadcaster!
I wonder if we're allowed to bid for Afternon tea at the Langham WITHOUT SA.
Yes. Just pop along any other day !!!!

I think you'd need to make a complete list, Chin.
James O'Brien, Clive Bull, Anthony Davies, Emma Barnett.
I absolutely loathe all LBC presenters with the exception of:
Ken Livingstone and David Mellor (as a duo)
Steve Allen
Ian Collins
Nick Ferrari
Four yesses so I'm through to the next round
Oh, all right but you must try and get out more, chin.
Anthony Davis.

Yes, levels of guilt to dampen even the most fervent ardour!
I'm gonna agree with those three.

I found Henry Kelly utterly unlistenable.

Self-induced "disability" as a result of addling his brain with marijuana.
