Didn't Big Brother in South Africa have an incident of alleged rape which was shown live?
Couple of girls got so drunk the producers had to call paramedics, but before they arrived a male housemate was seen being extremely intimate with one of the females who seemed fast asleep if not unconscious.
The producer got sacked but I think no other action was taken.
In the rape programme last there was a rape incident described which reminded me of the BB events, which I assume were presented as entertainment.
There was a sexual assault in the Australian BB it didn't go out on the TV edition but its still online. I don't think there was legal action but the two men were removed from the house and were delt with by the media.

Surely it would be better if they had been dealt with by police.
Jimmy Savile: BBC warned 40 years ago of risk to teenage girls
The BBC was officially warned more than 40 years ago it was putting girls in the Top of the Pops audience at risk of sexual predators.

when I am back to 80% or so then I will have some fight in me at the mo I am about 20% its like doing one step forward and 4 steps back
steven messham @smessham 13h
I would ask everyone who was abused in care homes to speak to the national crime agency and if they are not happy with them let me know
steven messham @smessham 13h
I know the police and the national crime agency check what I put on here I have got to the point I don't care my bottle of pop will explode
steven messham @smessham 14h
one must question what is going on with the national crime agency why don't they keep us up to date but no leave us in the dark as yet again
The police/ CPS surely seem to be missing the point. If the person in the photo was NOT Lord M then who was it? What has been done to investigate, identify and prosecute the person who DID abuse him?
The whole Bercow ruling just seems to be a distraction/ getting in the way of actually persuing the story that newsnight originally ran with.

Exactly. Thank you.
In my opinion its one huge cover up. Does anyone know what Mr Messham is doing now? I think the poor man was leant on heavily.

From the BBC website...
Graham Ovenden sex crimes: Review into suspended sentence
The attorney general has begun a review into whether the sentence imposed on artist Graham Ovenden was too lenient.
Ovenden, 70, from Cornwall, was spared a prison term for historical sex offences against children.
He was given a sentence of 12 months, suspended for two years, at Plymouth Crown Court on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the attorney general, Dominic Grieve, said his office had received several requests to review the sentence.

Sally Bercow and Steven Messham?
Here have some rope, it's what a lynch mob usually carry around with them.
So is anyone accused automatically guilty in your mind ? even after the original accuser states publicly he made a mistake on identity ?
Maybe the poster had seen the stuff already on the internet before he was accused publicly? There's plenty out there.

You may not have used those words but it was quite clear from your post that you do not think he is innocent.
Not that much of a surprise - he's been charged and imprisoned for such offences before.
I think he's the 72 year old mentioned the other day.

Grim stuff.

Won't be seeing him on Coronation Street again
Further charges to come tomorrow
The new charges involve girls aged 12 - 16 (in the years 1965-8) according to the BBC.
From where ?
