Flipping heck must he keep harping on about this. There's people who say he was misquoted...not in several magazines.
No 1 albums, No 1 airplay, No 1 singles
US Success
How much success does his little egotistical head want!
Olly can be hit and miss! PJ was a good moment. this was not!

His music is inoffensive disposable pop, there's no substance. He's a nice enough guy but there's no real longevity there.
This kind of quotes annoys non fans, and he seems to be moaning despite his incredible success wich might end up annoying his fans as well.
To be honest it's his own fault anyway. If he wants more recognition and blames The X Factor for his lack of it, why did he agree to be a presenter for two years on the Xtra Factor? I can understand why he went on the show, he wanted a way into the music industry but he could have distanced himself from the show by now, I mean just because he was on it doesn't mean he always should be associated with it but going back as a presenter ensured he would always be associated with it.
Wearing tight trousers?
- His 'music' has absolutely no originality.
I think she had plenty recognition just decided to squander it with bad management a crap label and an unwillngness to promote. In fairness to Olly he works hard has decent enough music but he will never get the credibility he craves with the amterial he releases.
Maybe he should have a chat with Joe McElderry and be grateful for what he has. I am sure Joe would have loved his success And, yes Joe fans I know Joe is doing ok releasing the music he wants (apparently) but it is not the same level of Olly success!
But what I mean is that as her music improved her recognition decreased. Although the things you mentioned do factor obviously and she shouldn't have delayed her third album for a year. But while Spirit is overrated, Glassheart is criminally underrated.
I see what you mean but she at least had the recognition there. Olly never has and is probably more successful than her.
I don't think any of her albums are rated highly. Do you just mean overrated/underrated purely in sales terms?
I know having met him that he is amazing to his fans and is passionate about making albums and touring - which is so far removed from all these recycled quotes about him. His fanbase is growing all the time and he has such a wide appeal that extends beyond the typical for a pop artist. And I can't wait to see you all proved wrong when he's still around in five years from now.
Enjoy the success your fans are giving you and shut up.
Yes. Although I believe Spirit got better reviews... The reviews for Glassheart were very biased.
I remember his Dad was ranting on twitter earlier this year when he didn't win a Brit. He is really doing my head in now. I've seen a few interviews where he really blows his own trumpet.
PS all IMO obviously.
I understand he was probably joking but it just comes across as foolish.
He has a team of writers around him who certainly know how to pen a radio friendly ditty. He says he wrote them, well, where were they for the 27 years he was in obscurity? He got to where he is by exposure on X factor, and getting supported by the pop music industry generally. He should be bloody grateful for that and shut up!
Looking forward to seeing him next week too when he supports Robbie.
