Yes I would have taken the £10 and not rung the number.
Like the racist waiter last week, I would like to think I would speak up against the homophobic waiter but dont know if I really would (incidentally its interesting how the Manc restaurant spoke up this week but not last week).
And Im quite mild-mannered but I would have told the parking attendant where to stick his signs.
Im not sure how I would have reacted in the blind man situation.
I'd have caned that machine, probably would have tried my Nectar card or something, rather than my debit card though, just in case it was recording details.
Those daft girls still squirming and lying even though they were told it was a wind-up/test.
Why bother lying at point, come up with some justification about Banks ripping us off, etc, etc.
I cannot believe that they have said nothing to the man!
In the racist incidents, I don't think anyone asked the people being offended against if they had a problem.
They showed support for them when the waiter tried to use them as leverage.
Watching on +1, I like how the kindest person on the show was somebody that appeared to have an American accent (the girl at the restaurant).
One of the people who got seriously irate last week at the racist food test was american too, needed some calming down once Rick showed his face, she was on a roll

Fascinating series.
I didn't know what to make of that anomaly either. Still trying to work it out.
I was also puzzled that nobody addressed the blind "victim" directly, but then they were probably puzzled as to why he did not respond when they first challenged the thief.

My comment was about the blind man in the cafe and they only talked to the woman stealing the food. I would have told the man what was going on.

I think they only limited it to £30  ...:D
Agree. They just dug themselves in deeper by lying.

Yessss, I understand you're talking about the Blind man in the Cafe, hence the comparison with the waiter set-up.
Oh, and another thing.
The Supermarket heroes set-up.
I really beginning to have a problem 'old people have earned the right to...'
So a 30 year old utter ar$e, by default stops being an utter ar$e at 65-70.
I'm waiting for Rupert Murdoch to turn into a force for good rather than a power hungry empire builder, he's certainly old enough now.
How about an episode of "Eye Spy" but with a "Big Brother" style twist?
The racist waiter thinks that the mixed-race couple are in on the stunt, but they're actually real people.
The waiter thinks that the other people in the restaurant are real people, but actually they're all actors.
The waiter says a few racist things; the offended couple react violently by beating him up; the on-lookers pretend not to notice anything, and the manager of the restaurant goes to live in a secret room next door with Wolfy.

I don't think the OAP thing was like that though - the little old lady seemed to be sweet and chatty and asked for help, rather than demand it. If she had been an obnoxious old boot, I doubt the results would have been anywhere near the same!
I just caught up with the latest episode last night, and I am really enjoying it. The results are rather surprising sometimes.
I think with the cash machine, I would have taken the first £10 and then tried again. If more free money came out, I like to think that I would have reported it after that. I don't think I would have phoned the number (just in case it was a premium rate number), but would have reported it to someone in the shopping centre.
Interesting show but thought the whole location vs location thing was a bit dumb. I don't think you could take anything away from the fact in Manchester the waiter wasn't confronted, no more than you could the fact that in the London examples none of the black customers paid the actor any attention, save for in one case when he'd already been confronted.
I felt my own reaction was different to the two version. The waiter seemed more offensive in London than in Manchester.
With the blind guy, I'd have talked to him before I confronted the woman. It seemed strange not to at least check that he didn't know her or had somehow allowed her to take the wine, before accusing her of theft.

I was holding my breathe at that
I am a little disappointed ha!!
Ain't heard that in years:D

Edit. Men  Good on them all.
