    This is a Scottish criminal trial, and in Scotland we don't use the term defendant, we use the term defender.

    The policeman seemed to have made up his mind right at the start - 'crocodile tears' etc.

    The detective didn't come over well , a bit of a blowhard, he's obviously made his mind up about Fraser.

    I thought the old cop was quite unprofessional, not dealing with facts but just his own observations, which were years ago!

    Barrister for 15 years. Never practised in Scotland. Mea culpa.......
