Where on earth did the BBC did Nick and Margaret up from ?

The BBC credits both as being "Business Experts".... however, gaining notoriety for sharing a TV series with Mr Alan Sugar, who left school with a few mediocre grades at O level before becoming a mere Barrowboy, does not give one any confidence that they know what they are talking about.

Love the way the 'you can't turn your kids down' line always gets wheeled out by the scroungers...4 year old kids have little to no concept of money, therefore they can get just as much pleasure out of free activities such as trips to the park.

I'm sure everyone knows a young child who on Xmas day spent more time playing with an empty box or some other random item, instead of the expensive presents they've been bought!

That's one thing I don't understand when someone says move to the jobs.. What happens if you can't move at all, or you have a partner who works and has to stay where he lives because of a job..

Ok not a single man I know..but still sort of a valid question..

Bloody hell this woman has a menagerie..yikes!!

It was the single with no commitments I was highlighting.

to be fair Toshiba lappys are quite cheap these days , mine cost me 400 ( which i had to save up for ) but still cheap

£400 isn't cheap when JSA is less than £300 a month.

At least they've got the gist of 'its better to stay at home & claim benefits in some situations than go to work on minimum wage' This HAS to be changed

Hmmm so they are just showing people unemployed.. Isn't that being a bit biased? There are people on other benefits..it isn't just JSA.

Biased so people who can work can go oh look at these lazy scroungers on benefits lets cut more money..

It makes you wonder about what the applications are actually like. Quality over quantity comes to mind.

Yes I know that hon, I suppose I was wondering outloud and thinking what happened if someone was unemployed but had a partner working. The government are always saying move to where the jobs are but they couldn't do it in those circumstances or were they still expected to..

But this programme isn't showing the majority, just the ones they can exploit to make out that everyone on benefits is rolling in it.

Film me! You wouldn't be saying "Look at him and his exotic lifestyle", you would be popping around with food parcels!

Can you really individually tailor and make sure the applications are the best they can be when doing 15-18 a day? Copy and pasting stock answers sure, but giving each one dedicated time to fill in I don't think so!

    That's what I was thinking: 75 jobs a week @ £18k a year minimum.

    Come on son:cool:

Don't know but I grew up in a very low income household and there was no way we could afford any computer
