Interested in whether some of you have time for episodes commonly believed to be pants? I've got two. The Doctor the widow and the wardrobe I find really charming Also like nightmare in silver...

But 'The Vampires of Venice' doesn't have a bad reputation, does it? I've always thought it was highly regarded.
Well, it might not be regarded in such a way as "Love and Monsters" or "Fear Her", but I have seen quite a few rather negative opinions about the episode.
Also, The Rings of Akhaten. I don't love the episode but I don't hate it either, I just like it. And personally I just don't understand what's supposed to be so bad about it that it makes it any worse than any other average episode. And I kinda liked Last of the Time Lords, but I'm not sure whether that one would be considered to have a bad reputation or whether it's just a few people on here with a strong negative opinion on it,
The Keys of Marinus
Black Orchid
Delta and the Bannermen
New series
The Unicorn and the Wasp
Vampires of Venice was good until it was apparent they were fish and not Vampires.
Although I quite like it.
Love and Monsters is a fine example of a messed up episode that I liked more than I should.
I don't get the hate for The Leisure Hive.
I loved The Unicorn and the Wasp as well, but I never realised it was disliked?
The main reason why I loved Vampires so much because Helen McRory was wonderful in it as Rosanna (she really was a big fish) and the scenes between her and Matt were brilliant and I thought added an additional layer to what was mostly a fun episode.
I think Rings of Akhaten was the second best episode of series 7 (behind The Name of the Doctor and after Asylum of the Daleks), and really rate the ganger and Silurian two-parters.
I also have a soft spot for Paradise Towers (runs and hides)
*except for Peter Kay's godawful part which makes me cringe nearly as much as Alpha Centauri's voice... and let's not get started on that.
Silver Nemesis: Proof you don't need multi Doctors for an anniversary, just a healthy crazy dose of Cybermen, Nazis, and social workers:D
I love Silver Nemesis. Its insane. In a good way!
The Beast Below
The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe
Voyage of the Damned
The Unicorn and the Wasp
I also quite like The Lazarus Experiment, 42, and Fear Her too.
But I don't feel at all guilty watching and enjoying any of them.
Keys of Marinus...really like. Vampires...great fun. Silver Nemesis...certainly not dull. Fear Her...nowhere near as bad as it's painted. Nor is TDTWATW, IMO. Paradise Towers has some good concepts and scenes.
And if anyone's got a problem with the sparkling and funny 'Unicorn and the Wasp'...well, a warning, they'd better just be entitled to their opinion, that's all I can say!
The acting in Vampires was fine, it was just a huge comedown from gothic horror with the reveal.
The Unicorn and the Wasp was awful, especially with the copper from Ideal doing his buzz, buzz.
Scream or the shalka
Death comes to time
I think the Tennant/Tate comedy episodes (Partners in Crime, Unicorn and the Wasp) are a little bit marmite - but the poll we did on this forum at the time The Unicorn and the Wasp was shown had 79% of forum members who voted (718!) saying it was good, very good or excellent - only 21% thought it was fair, poor or very poor.
It also got 8.41m viewers and an AI rating of 86!
So I wouldn't personally consider it a guilty pleasure when an overwhelming majority of viewers agree it was good-to-excellent.
