The majority of the song choices Kelly made for Janet were pretty subpar, but 'I Want You Back' and especially 'MMMBop' take the crown for absolutely terrible song choices.
This was a really bad song choice for Ella, I liked what Jamie East suggested in her HolyMoly interview that she should have sang her sing off song If Your Not The One on the guilty pleasures week performance show.
even though I love District3 some of their songs choices(or Louis song choices) were really bad
I swear-a really dated boyband song and the spinning around with petals floating made it really cheesy!
Dynmaite-Although I actually like this song and the way they sing it,it came across like high school musical pop and not their style at all.

Really? Well, then she picked some subpar songs for herself I guess. This thread is about bad song choices during the live shows, so it doesn't matter who picked the song.
Treyc got a run of boring songs (aside from Whole Lotta Love) which had all been done before multiple times (Relight My Fire, One, Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, Purple friggin' Rain)
She showed on Whole Lotta Love she could work the stage and deliver rock vocals. I don't know a) how she ended up in the B2 and b) why the producers didn't make more of that!
Most contestants say they have a limited list of songs they have to choose from and she has mentioned she wanted to sing "In The Summertime" instead of Mmmbop but the producers wouldn't let her.
I think there's a lot more that goes on backstage than the show lets us see.

The lack of effort put into Treyc really pissed me off. She obviously wouldn't have won or anything, but the songs given to her were so boring and done-before that she really had no chance to even make it to the top 5 or 6. No thought in them whatsoever.

Other silly song choices were Olly with Don't Stop Me Now, Lloyd with Bleeding Love and Rikki with Respect.
District 3 with Simply The Best was hardly a rip-roaring way kick off the live shows either.
I liked this guy..... but after he sang this song I though Ronan was mad XD
I don't know what was on Tulisa's mind when she decided to turn that song into a ballad.

Janet says she made most of her song choices
That's why I found it hypocritical of Tulisa to say to Chris "if people want to buy Elton John they go buy Elton John."

Daniel de Bourg 'Build Me Up Buttercup'
Leon 'Can't Buy Me Love'
Nikitta 'Dancing Queen' (Simon gave her another song and she changed it)
Tulisa didn't.
She just ripped off a much, much better Angus & Julia Stone cover

Rebecca Ferguson - Candle in the Wind
Marcus Collins - Moves Like Jagger
