Just noticed this. Just because of all the hype with the new doctor, DS decide to give us our own section on the main page.
Cant see this staying for long like it did last time.

When the show is on the air we get upgraded to the main forum when it's not we go back to being a sub forum.
Why cant they just give us what we want a decicated forum section to who.
There's always a Doctor Who forum, most of the time (when the show isn't airing) it's a sub-section of the Cult TV one though.
They kept us as a main forum longer than I thought they would though.
Understandable given the increased volume of posts surround the 12th Doctor preamble, announcement and ensuing fallout.
With little news of note to discuss, of course the volume of posts has dropped quite dramatically
and this one has 21,000 threads with 800,000 posts
So Who's the Daddy?
Yes indeed but it also shows how many pointless threads get started in here that never take off. Whereas clearly in the Cult section they're a bit more discerning and actually have debates and lengthy discussion. I think it is a problem on here. People start a thread about any old rubbish and most of them don't take off. Or its a groundhog day loop of the same old thing being said again and again and again.Or its a groundhog day loop of the same old thing being said again and again and again.Or its a groundhog day loop of the same old thing being said again and again and again.
Or it might possibly be a groundhog day loop of the same old thing being said again and again and again.
I have to admit, I'm at odds. On the one hand, Doctor Who is open to so many hypotheticals that it does pave the way for a massive array of conversations. When one episode can be set on a space-whale in the future, and another sees Charles Dickens getting haunted by ghosts, then another sees angels zapping people through 30's Manhattan...well, you can even end up with little fandoms revolving around a particular episode.
That being said, at the same time (hence why I'm at odds), I have never seen a sub-forum that goes off on so many wild tangents anywhere before. it's not a problem as such as I just won't read threads I don't care about but when you get a thread started up because someone on This Morning made a passing reference to the show, or because someone on Jeremy Kyle described their husband as looking like Davros... you have to wonder how much content here is actually substantial.
Are you speaking philosophically or geographically?
I always speak philosophically.
(I'm sorry to reply when the questions wasn't directed at me, but how could I not?)
Theoretically, this forum is quantum-locked in a wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey thingy.
As Saladfingers said that's exactly why Who was given a sub forum, so many of the users thinking their idea was so important it needed it's own thread meant they were swamping the cult forum and driving everything non who off the "front page".
Cult told on Who and Mommy & Daddy moderator got annoyed and sent Who to it's room to think about what it had done.. Who then started bitching about the wallpaper
When it's Who's birthday Mommy & Daddy will once again put a sign on the front door again pointing Who's new friends to the bedroom so they don't wander into the kitchen and annoy the grown ups.
They don't however move the bedroom, the bedroom stays where it is
Who's not the Daddy
