Least Favorite Harry Potter Movie And Why?

My least favorite Harry Potter movie would definitely have to be the Half Blood Prince. It felt too much like a teenage soap with the whole Lavender/Ron/Hermionie and Harry/Ginny nonsense. I also found myself yawning and getting very restless which is something that never happens me when watching any Harry Potter movies because I have been a huge fan of the franchise since the get go. The only part of the movie that aroused interest for me was the last 10 minutes when Dumbledore got killed.
The Order Of The Phoenix comes a very close second, they did not stay loyal to the book as much as I would have liked!
P.S Was it ever explained what happened to Cho Chang in the Half Blood Prince. In the previous two movies Harry was almost fixated with her and then she was never heard of in the next movie?

In english pleases.....?
But it's nice to know that someone else found it weak.
Yep. Agree completely.
I thought that was English :P
Translated: there's no story to HBP. It's all one huge set up for the "big" finale...
Which was the least shocking thing ever.
Rowling SHOULD have killed Hagrid if she wanted some emotional connect with the audience.
My least favourite is probably Goblet of Fire. Not totally sure why - it's just a bit 'meh' for me!
Order of the Phoenix misses far too much out and what remains isn't done well.
Prisoner of Azkaban inexplicably added those stupid shrunken heads yet didn't manage to find the time to explain the Marauders' Map properly!
The first two movies are a bit too light, but they are at least fairly true to the books.
Really the only ones I was impressed by are the two parts of Deathly Hallows, and even then they managed to completely ruin the climax of the final battle!
So basically you didn't like any of them!
This sounds a bit weird but I liked and disliked the GOF at the same time. The Goblet Of Fire is when things get really dark. The Opening Scene give me shivers, Cedrics Death was great, The return of the little specky gohst girl etc. However I didn't enjoy the different schools joining up or the Quiddich World Cup scenes.
I think after the fourth movie the franchise began to get a little bit stale. I much preferred the first 3 movie than the latter one's.
get a fairly 'normal' year at Hogwarts, and despite it's drawbacks I think a decent effort was made with what they had.
I'd probably put Goblet of Fire as the worst personally. They had so much good material but struggled to give the film much of a cohesive narrative. The films can be guilty of being no more than a highlights package of the book but this one especially so. Definitely the most disappointing.
Main reason is I think Michael Gambon played Dumbledore all wrong in it.
I thought that it was badly directed and poorly acted. Francis De La Tour and Trigger were awful and even Dumbledore came across as a bit of a nutter. It has the worst musical score of all of the movies and there was also too much slapstick comedy for my liking.
Luckily David Yates got the franchise back on track.
Order Of The Phoenix Sucked!
I think the latter films all needed to be two parters (not that I want them to be) as the books were getting bigger and so more stuff was being cut out or not used correctly so it made sense if you haven't read the books.
I think GOF is a good movie. But GOF is the only HP I haven't read (I'm not sure why that is...) so I haven't got a clue what's missed out or not. I must read GOF...
And it doesn't matter how much I've watched GOF - that moment Harry arrives back with Cedric's dead body still makes me cry. That moment is very well done; everybody's initial cheer as they see Harry with the cup then their slow realisation that Cedric is dead. Cedric's dad's reaction is heart-breaking... then you see Harry get pulled away....
I think that scene is one of my favourites in the film series.
It may have been an idea to have the theatrical versions but also perhaps a 'for the fans' longer, more detailed version available? Maybe...
But I appreciate the storyline in book 2 now because it's such an important moment in the series
