I'm interested to hear from anyone who has given up on Caffeine. I know there's a withdrawal period (headaches etc) but do you find that you're better without it? or do you now drag yourself round and need that 'kick' to fire you up for the day?

I tried to give up Diet Coke, but it didn't work. I got the shakes like an addict. Well, not really. I simply have no resolve.
I was far more irritable than usual without it. I think I'd be a cranky zombie without caffeine. Is that even possible? Do zombies get crabby?
Anyway, whatever - good luck if you're trying to wean yourself off! ...you're gonna need it.
I can't function without my morning coffee.
Funnily enough I'm now very sensitive to caffeine, in that if I have any after 6pm then I won't sleep at all. But handy if I do need to stay awake then all I need is a can of coke and I'm buzzing for hours! Give me a redbull and you need to peel me off the ceiling!!
Never been a fan of tea or coffee. I did at one time drink a lot of cola but no longer do, and haven't had much in the way of chocolate for a while either. Haven't had an energy drink in over a decade, they didn't seem to do anything besides making my teeth hurt.
I love caffeine, can't live without it
Same here, I can drink a double espresso before going to bed and I can still fall asleep with ease. I could go for days without coffee if I had to, I am not addicted to it. i just like coffee.
Thanks!
I'm going to go slowly. My main issue (I think) will be staying awake!
Chocolate has caffeine in it, so although I still eat chocolate occasionally its a rare treat, and only a little bit.
I think I had a couple headaches at first, but they soon passed.
I feel better for giving it up.
Chocolate usually has caffeine in too you know, or do you expect me to believe you are a girl who doesn't eat chocolate?
It also never made me feel awake when I was tired
Wish I could, I have to have 5 coffee's a day! ;)
