If you're interested in buying the unlocked Nexus 4 directly from Google it's now even better value: £159 for the 8GB and £199 for the 16GB.
Got to admit i'm a little miffed since i bought one less than a month ago, but for anyone that hasn't yet it's a great deal.
Seems that Google offer to refund the difference if you purchased within 15 days of the price reduction (unfortunately i ordered on the 1st so am not eligible). If you did, you can submit your refund request here.

Samsung Galaxy Ace is much better value.
Debatable of course.
Anyhow, I bought mine 22nd July ......
hardly comparable spec wise!
I certainly didn't my old Nexus S that is lying around the house somewhere was likely a better phone that Galaxy Ace.
so many trolls here that it's hard to tell these days.
you didn't use any smiley to denote it may have been a joke though
I'm currently in a middle on a 24 month contract with Virgin on a crappy HTC phone but I believe I should be able to get them to provide a replacement micro SIM while remaining on contract.
You can apply for a refund of the difference according to Google.

Thanks.
Agreed.
Just phoned them as my phone hasn't arrived yet so didn't know the imei to fill in the online form. They are going to refund the difference.
Thanks for the help.
You're very welcome I wonder if this price drop has anything to do with the allegedly very imminent 'cheap' iPhone?
Maybe or the new Nexus is imminent and they're clearing the remaining Nexus 4 stock.
I honestly didn't think I'd have to use a Smiley tbh...
Well it looked like you were being serious.
It did but thankfully I recalled him posting this recently

Surely my post history shows I know what I'm talking about when It comes to phones.
My post was in no way serious
Yeh sorry, we posted at the same time.
That being said this is the best deal out there right now even beating some £350+ phones in terms of spec.
Only downside is lack of SD card and LTE. But they are hardly downsides
