Just had an enjoyable game in seine crossing but have played on some stinkers on there being trapped in base across the river.
Any tips for when all seems lost like this of how to get out?

The thing is are they really base raping? If my poor team fails to hold any zones what are the enemy supposed to do.
IMHO Yes, but then I take no fun in shooting people as they spawn in or as they try to exit their spawn area (Wheres the sport in that). I also find it infuriating when I am the one stuck in the spawn point. Once that happens people quit and the match is pretty much dead.
When that happens I tend to run back to my original spawn area to allow the other team to hopefully get a flag back and recover the match. If they are as bad as you say it shouldn't be too hard to get the flag back again but at least you gave the enemy a fighting chance.
You can check map rotation and what game mode will be playing on the server screen just before you join, it's on the right where the other players appear.
Yeah bit of a pain in the arse but at least you can change loadouts on respawn, allthough I tend to pick the wrong ones quite often, for instance being overwhelmed by air support by the time I get back in with an Igla I'm faced with MBTs and IFVs and vice versa.
Agreed, such a breath of fresh air when started playing it or as my mate put,it "f**kin boss game". Then again Killzone is a very good alternative multiplayer experience.
Battlefield 3 was okay, I enjoyed Bad Company 2 more. I'm picking up Battlefied 4 though. Levolution and some of the other gameplay mechanics look really interesting.
And more players will make it a lot more faster to get a kill. So yeah, I'm all in for the game.
Yip. More players works both ways and will obviously mainly suit big maps. Pc version of conquest tends to have more flags than current console versions though which would dilute that chaos. Likes of gulf of oman I think has a flag up at hotel swimming pool area on pc.

Depends entirely on map size. If you have 64 player servers on a map like Nuketown on COD (not sure if there is a BF equivalent), then sure, it would be kills galore. But if the maps are better sized then I doubt you will see much of a difference.
If i'm wrong, I can't wait to see the reactions of the BF 'vets'.

Yeah, if we get a map like Metro again.. might as well quit while were ahead while listening to Drowning Pool's "Let the bodies hit the floor" lol.
But in all seriousness, I think we'll get a variety of map sizes. Battlefield always seems to have different maps that cater for each style of player. In my opinion anyway.
Looking forward to getting BF4 on PC. I bought BF3 on PC for £4.99 and had a few games on MP and got butt ****ed big time although trying to use an xbox 360 controller didn't help matters lol. I just hope I get better at using the k/b and mouse before 4 launches lol

Haven't played BF3 for a while (busy with Hitman), but it's easily my fave game of the last few years.
'Pause', 'Quit'

lol - yeah, and faster to get dead as well.

Is there any actual ps3/360 footage out there or is it all pc ps4 xb1 vids.
To be honest so long as it looks like bf3 then id be happy
Well, if your good enough. The decent enough player will adjust. Should be fun all the same lol.

Metro is confirmed as 1 of the maps in the 'Second Assault' dlc, along with Firestorm, Caspian, and Oman
No console footage yet.
Was a certainty some of those maps would come back.
