Just caught the 2nd half of this new series with Richard Ayoade and it was very good. He is so funny. So much better than Stephen Fry.

    I'm never quite sure where we are between him being Moss, and just being himself :D

    But I enjoyed it

    Much better than 'The Gadget Show'.

    Richard is good.

    They show just enough of the gadgets to give some idea of how they work without being too boring.

    Yeah I thought he was awful not funny at all & I couldn't enjoy it. The show is weirdly boring considering the subject matter and I hate the way they just show a gadget, show it's price and then move on. That's not what I want from a show about gadgets.

    I hate to say it but the Gadget show is better.

    Nice, thanks. Will have to grab the 1st episode though as i've missed that as well ..

    .. although I've just checked and Monday's was the first episode .. doh

    The tent feature was a tad odd, They showed three tents for id guess about 5 seconds each and asked a few people which was best. I wanted to see slightly more in depth features, than as someone said earlier, showing a price and the item.
    It was like a tv argos catalogue

    The one-note character Richard was playing became tiresome well before the end of the show. I liked seeing lots of gadgets, but it really was very superficial.

    I didn't like it either, monotone performance and thought the gay innuendo was unnecessary.
    Steven Fry was much more enthusiastic.

    Watching it now - Moss doing tech is rather good :)

    Obviously it's going to be different to Fry's version but I suppose it also comes down to wether or not you like Richard Ayoade and I do, so hopefully this will be good

    I prefer Fry, although I like Ayoade too. I agree that there wasn't enough time spent talking about each individual gagdet, it was more like a rushed catalogue advert of items.

    I must have been watching too much IT Crowd, when he said "put the stick in, and just walk away" I was expecting the whole thing to catch fire :D

    :D I like the Google glasses. They look cool. I wonder how much they will cost.

    At present about £1 to 1.5K no doubt they'll get cheaper as they near final production, won't catch me wearing them though
