Anyone else watching this?
I was expecting something a bit grittier.
The sting at the beginning was snatched from the Al Pacino movie Sea of Love.
Entertaining but I could rip the storyline to shreds.

its a 1 of 6 i'm giving it a chance at least beats the crap thats normally on anyway
I will say its annoying how many times they have said "by any means" thats bloomin 3 times now ... we get the point!
Just how long are the BBC going to keep flogging us lukewarm rehashes of Bugs,Hustle,Spooks etc.Same old low budget, generic garbage.
How on earth do production companies manage to sell this stuff to broadcasters?
For me it won't compete when Homeland returns.
Even though I have not really seen that show but thats what I was thinking whilst watching it!
Yeah I think they have taken the same set up and transferred it to the Uk. The only difference is that they are cops.
And why make John Henshaw try a very dodgy Glasgow accent?
Next week's episode looks better than tonight's one as well.
pity they could have gave it a "luther" edge
Agree completely, won't be watching this again. A huge disapointment, I really enjoyed 'What Remains' that was showing in this slot the last 4 weeks, and was hoping for something as good.
The music was a bit on the loud side.... as usual. The BBC are always being told that the BGM music is too overpowering but do they listen? Do they ****!
I think people were mistakingly expecting a darker more serious drama but to me from the trailers it seemed obvious to me it would be quite light.
Good for what it is.
Otherwise clearly trying to hard to be too cool and hip - actually its an old persons idea of a snappy "knowing" action series.
I'll give it another go but it's just too similar to Hustle.
It was written by the same people, produced by the same company, filmed on the same places (Birmingham)...
