I thought it was a revamp to look more like the BBC Paper Preview.
Which admittedly is pants compared to sky but at least they don't drag the disgraced source-revealing Times journalist Isabel Oakeshott on every other week.
does anyone know when sky news will be returning to the old look meaning with the media wall behind them i tryed searching but there nothing on there too say what there doing i thought they might change the look to how sky arabia looks
does anyone know when sky sky news will return with the wall behind them and instead of looking like its coming from the broom cupboard tryed searching too look for a date but seems there nothing on there i thought they would change it too how sky news Arabia looks ....
Yes, but they're not using the wall for the weather (as that area of the studio is being worked on).
The weather presenter who usually uses the wall is on the sofa and voicing over graphics.
I think it's the Sunrise studio that needs the overhaul. The foreground is nice enough, but then you get a very empty, cramped and dull newsroom behind, which is not very nice for early morning. They'd be better adding more plasma screens to cover up the newsroom.
They been in Westminster for a month now they must be doing something big at sky news centre anyone got any leaked pictures cant take this long to change a news wall

They seem to be back at Sky Centre since Thursday night from what I have seen. The new wall area must be ready, probably just waiting for Monday.
From a shot they used last night, it's surprising how messy the Sky Newsroom is. It's needs a good declutter and open up more.
If they now go with a flat news wall, that will leave them more space, in already a generous size area, and then opens up the main part of the gallery more, and also with new tech, the wall would be slimmer anyway. Is it then at all possible, that they might use that corner for presentation and have installed a new desk where the island used to be? It would still give them the main gallery view and newsroom. They could then used the current area for the desk as camera space and maybe a new sunrise set.
Usual studio in Osterley. But weather is done from the sofa and not the wall, which is being worked on.
So the workmen are having to wait until 10am to get started each day after Charlotte finishes no wonder taking so long, why they cant do papers from there workmen will have gone home by 9.30pm

No idea but is that why the Press Preview is being filmed against some hideous background that is full of flickering monitors?
I'd immagine that the pubs in Westminster are better than the dismal ones around their base in Osterley. Can't blame them... I'd move permanently!
Although I dislike the gallery backdrop at Millbank, it's far too close, they should have blurred the background.

Where is Sunrise being broadcast from?

Why are you asking? Is it a problem? No I'm not being sarcastic, I don't quite get your point.
Isn't it why many of us are here?
