I always thought that icke was a visionary nutjob.
He realised that there was money to be made out of the mentally ill long before it became really popular to do it, let alone before it became as simple as setting up a website and selling some badly edited ranting youtube videos of the "truth".
I'll give it to him, he knows his audience, and would appear to know how to milk them right up there with the best of the U.S. televangelists.
Older posters here will remember when David Icke quit his job as a television sports reporter, proclaimed himself to be the son of god and started spouting off about how, in years to come we would witness drastic changes to our planet, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, freak weather patterns etc. My how we chortled at the rantings of a celebrity mentally unravelling before our eyes......
Since then he seems to have taken on the mantle of a real life Fox Mulder, exposing seemingly endless conspiracies and challenging governments to tell us the truth. Should we still be laughing at him or does he merit our support in his quest for the truth?
His views on the New World Order are not exactly loony at all. In fact, its become very apparent there is a ruling elite in the world and many of them are dressed up as politicians who help make decisions which bankers ask them to make.
Go back to the time of the Wogan interview,
Ickey was always wearing torquoise...
a blend of the blue of the sky and the green of the earth.
He made some outlandish statements and became ridiculed in the media and a laughing stock in the country.
But in actual fact he lost his father around that time and its understandable
that he went through some emotional problems that must have contributed to his situation.
What is remarkable is that from being an object of fun...
from being publicly ridiculed he turned it all around and began writing and publishing books.
These books began to sell and now they sell worldwide and in America Ickey is a celebrity author and lecturer.,,, very highly respected too.
You v'e got to respect the guy for that remarkable turnaround....
certainly on a par with Geoffrey Archer's turn around from disgraced bankrupt to multi millionaire.
The 9 11 disaster in New York ushered in the .... Age of Conspiracy ....
Ickey has ridden the wave to become a conspiracy guru and a world wide celeb....... give the guy a break !
There's the idea that if you don't want something believed, make sure the reporter won't be believed. Perhaps Icke is being manipulated to say the sillier things, with the odd titbit about peados in power - with the result nobody else will say it for fear of being linked to Icke.

Ok.
He's gone from being a completely mental f*ckwit to being just a nutjob.
Whats with all the David Icke posts and thread starts tonight.
Im happy to talk about him and his thoughts all night long.
He has brought up stuff for years that the media and most people just pooh-pooh.

A lot are upset at me posting a thread about his show next year and because I'm such a good talker and it's done so well they decided to bring up an old thread to continue their insults and try and abuse people that like David Icke. Just the same 4 people doing it.

The age of conspiracy came in long before 9/11.
Long before David Icke...
probably long before the ancient egypians, the mayans...etc.
I had a family member years ago that was massively down to earth and didn't go for the space type stuff tell us that he had saw something he couldn't explain.
He was on an oil rig....black,night sky with loads of stars you wouldn't see in a city and there was stuff he saw that even he thought was weird.
For him to say that was something we listened to...because he was not into ufo or alien stuff.

Now THAT would be interesting - as he wouldn't be 'preaching to the converted' as it were.

But yes - nutjob.
I'd suggest "shrewd businessman"
No need to go incognito perchance?
Famous Freemasons
Sir William “Billy” Butlin (1899 – 1980)
Is Frank Bough a conspiracy theorist as well?
A rather far-fetched conspiracy theory.

It's the dawning....
It's what we do.
Or else we'd explode with shit.
Literally as well as figuratively...

Surely not the age of Aquarius......
Before we know it there will be harmony and understanding.
I'm definitely in harmony but understanding not so much. 1/2 way...
