I avoid whisky these days. It's not a friend of mine.:(
I enjoyed the haggis suppers half way through the binge though.:D

The bathroom floor had to suffice for me, I used a towel for a pillow.

Listening to Simple Minds was probably linked to the fire-starting...

You might be onto something there.

I used to watch wrestling when I was a kid, but not any more. I don't really read many story books like I used to, either.

    Going clubbing.

Listening to chart music and knowing or giving a toss what the number one single is.

I stopped that a long time ago. I used to have a part time job whilst at sixth form and one of the shifts was Friday evening. That was the same night that Top of The Pops used to be on. So, from then on I never knew what was actually number one.

I used to only vaguely know from watching MTV (when the bigger known artists like Britney Spears, Eminem, Christina Aguilera etc where number one), but I do not watch that anymore either.

Not only read NME but learn some of the reviews by heart and quote them to equally obsessed friends. :o You have to be my age to understand.

    Wear crop tops.

Put posters on the wall with blutack.

    Ride a motorbike.

Read long, difficult things, including the Bible, from cover to cover.

Take notes in Pitman shorthand. I can only remember 'and' and 'the'.

Go to gigs or festivals with no seats. :(

I used to have film posters on my wall. I had one of Goodfellas and The Shawshank Redemption. I had this really good one of Bob Marley, that was a close up of his face, but if you looked closely it smaller images in the shape of squares of his records.

I also used to have one of Jennifer Lopez, but that was for other reasons.

I stopped caring what was number one a lot longer ago than that.

I was one of those kids from the 70s and 80s who put a tape recorder next to the record player's speaker to record the top 40. :D

Drink like I used to. I too used to go out and get totally sloshed, roll into bed at 3 or 4am, then manage to get up and into work for 8am!! Even the thought of doing that now makes me feel queasy! In fact, i doubt I would physically be able to do it now. Alcohol (and the after effects) seem to take much longer to flush out of my system these days, no matter how much I eat or drink the next day.

I'm 32 now, and on the odd occasion that I have a heavy night out on the sauce these days, it takes me about 2 days before I feel 100% again.

Stopped doing that altogether, along with not drinking coke or lemonade. One of the best things I have ever done in relation to my health and becoming more fit.

I only gave it up at forty eight. It was putting on weight, not my age (or the fact I was competing with daughter and neice) honest.:o

My Mother gave me a birthday card this week with a tortoise flying through the air with a frisbee in its mouth.

She knows me too well. (I rarely remember I'm too damned old).

I don't do it anymore, but I get a bit of a 'fix' from my daughter, who has assorted stuff which actually includes posters of David Bowie, and one of Bob Marley. She's so cutting edge retro.:D

I don't do ballroom and latin anymore. That makes me sad.:(
