id say first 5 and last 5 episodes were great, but 13 in between were too much filler and boring, hopefully season 2 improves upon that.
p.s all this talka bout flash and lantern, must be wishful thinking no? arrow is basically a tv homage to batman begins, i cant see there being any super powers.
I enjoyed the no super powers rule- it made the show different and refreshing. I suppose they want to open up Arrow to meeting more of the DC heroes (especially as a way of testing the waters for new shows). I wonder if this will mean Black Canary will have her sonic canary cry. It will be interesting to see the new depiction of Barry Allen. I really liked the Flash series from the 90s. It was fun to watch.
^But I wonder how they will depict powers? Is it going to be "anything goes" (even ridiculous stuff), or is it going to be technological based and genetic modification based?

Imagine Flash's rogues...
It depends which versions of the Rogues they used. Since the DC-wide reboot known as the New 52 they are now superpowered villains rather than techno-villains

It hasn't been officially announced he'll be playing Barry Allen yet has it??
It says he will in that Digispy article. So I assume it's official.

Yep it's official it's been reported on most us websites I'm not sure if he's the best guy for the role but we will have to wait and see I suppose!

From what I can gather, he won't have any powers in Arrow, he'll get them if and when he gets his own show.

Looks like I was right. The Flash will be appearing in 3 episodes of Season 2 with the last one apparently working as backdoor pilot

Yeah, but I'd rather that than have to dodge spoilers for weeks at a time. I know it's a pain, but I've kinda got used to it these days:o:D
Yes. It's very good.
