While it's very common for Barristers in the same Chambers to work on opposing sides of cases, I don't believe for a second that a Barrister would defend someone who'd murdered the wife of someone in Chambers.
It's a classic circumstance where you'd throw your hands up and say that you couldn't possibly be objective and represent the client to the best of your ability.
So the CCTV on the bus or on the streets wouldn't have seen him following the kid or sitting next to him on the bus which would break his bail conditions. :rolleyes:
